Ha, I had a similar albeit less sinister situation recently too. I had logged out inside the control tower of the NW airfield. I logged back in again the next day and as I did there was a dude looting the tower. In that situation I figured "this guy has come a long way to get here and is most likely not the sharing type". I unload into him and claim it all. Sorry to whoever you are, if you feel sore, ask yourself. Honestly, would you have stopped to ask me if I was friendly? I'm not a bandit, I'm a realistic survivor.

So I've been working my way up north. I found myself in Stary Sobor and as I needed to restock on beans I made my way into town. Unfortunately something happened with the server/my internet and I got caught in a glitch while being chased by a group of zombies. I managed to kill them and get to safety but suffered badly. I'm low on blood and have a broken leg. I'm obviously miles away from a hospital and so I'm putting out an S.O.S for anyone who can run a Morphine shot to me, and maybe a blood transfusion if they can. Currently I'm logged out inside the last tent in the military camp right next to the toilets (I had hoped that I could crawl there to find a shot). I can log in almost any time (30th of July - UK time). I have no interest in the military loot at the camp and will help cover the rescuer while they loot if they wish me to. Please please can someone help. I've come so far. P.S. I understand that the military camp is a hot spot for bandits. I am really in need of help and so can try and move somewhere else. I will also post screen shots of my condition if someone wants proof and can tell me how? (apparently print screen just copies a blank screen)

Do you have to do anything for medic help?

It's a survival game, if you could just out run them then where would the challenge be? Find a gun and unload.

Which file was that you put them under and it worked? I copied and replaced the two files into the correct folder but with no success. It also seems to replace them again after trying to play as the downloaded file is 108kb, and the file it is replacing is 100. I can't really find the folder you seem to be talking about in the arma 2 folder. I get to the point below: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 and then hit a wall. The only folder I can see there is the BE setup folder. Help Please

So I've been lurking around these forums for a while now but haven't had any need to post until now. Basically since the latest update I haven't been able to play the game. To start with I was just getting the loading screen which would never end (leaving it up to 15 minutes at one point). Since then I've been getting kicked from the game messages and bad version messages. Before people pointing out the obvious answers, I've been reading other threads on here of a similar nature and have done the following with no success: Updated Arma Verified files in Steam for both games (right click, program files, ect.) Downloaded and installed the Arma beta update (got the link from another thread posted within the last 12 hours) Updated any updates which come up when opening up Six Launcher Please please can someone just give me a walk through of how to get back online? I'm not a real computer wizz and so lack the knowledge to just play about with the files. I fear that if I do this myself I may cause more damage then good. I really want to get back online and seeing that there are people playing is really frustrating. I look forward to getting some help.

This is exactly the same problem I'm having. What is the F-ing issue here. I've tried everything possible mentioned and yet still getting the same problem. I'm sure that he has run both games. I have so the next question is why is it still not working? How do you fix this?

Yes I have restarted both Arma and the expansion but with no luck. This is really getting annoying now. As for Systemik, would you care to be a little more specific? Obviously there is a lot of information covered on those few pages but to someone who isn't up on what various numbers and jargon mean it's all like another language to me. If it's possible, is there any kind of step by step guide I can follow to just fix this damn problem? Obviously there are a good number of people who have gotten around this.

Thanks for answering, I've lost track of the amount of servers I've tried to sign in on. White names, grey names, .4 versions, .3 versions. Recruit to Expert servers. No matter what type it either tells me I've been kicked or it's bad. It's very frustrating when I see that others are online in the list. What am I doing wrong or haven't done right?
