I still haven't seen a convincing argument for keeping the NVG. Give it a go, be nice to see people having to use the light vs risk mechanic. People dont play at night because you can be sneaking around all you want and some guy will just be watching you with thermal / nvg.

Last night I was clearing out yet another dupers camp site I put down a satchel charge to flatten it for fun, then tried to pick something up off the ground. Just as I clicked the "gear" option dissapeared and i clicked on "touch off 1 satchel charge" instead. BOOM -

I don't know if a stat reset is relevant, I assume that will happen at Beta or when we go gold. That doesn't affect the game-play, that's all I'm concerned about. -

Here's a suggestion. Use the search button. Stop suggesting stuff that has been posted over and over and over again (sticking it on an island (that isnt useless incidentally) does not make it a new idea). And don't be surprised at the reactions you get when you do so. It's tedious as hell. Then go and read the "Rocket Said" thread and read his statements about how he wants people to create things like this and not have them placed in the game. While your at it try and keep your posts about suggestions instead of personal attacks, calling me a dick after that pathetic tirade is amusingly ironic. -

Your right Bleep of course. But we have a reached a point where every server (in my experience) is clogged with tent cities full of high end loot. Barb wire etc , everywhere. Sure it will come back but it will take a while to get back to the point we are at now. And in the meantime we get a chance to play the game as it was intended for a bit. -

Exactly. In the meantime i'm manually resetting a server. Every tent city I find I'm emptying the gear onto the floor and saving the tents. Taking a while but I'll get there lol -

This is the sort of crap that has led to me almost totally abandoning the suggestions forum, this place has gone to the dogs. No to safe havens. No to NPCs, No to trading posts, You want these things make them yourself. -
I know zombie threads come up alot but I did some experimenting yesterday and it clarified for me that in my opinion they are WAY to easy. I died a few times and had to run the length of the map each time to get back to one or other of my camps. Twice I ran the entire length of the map with no trouble at all, every town I encountered I ran right through standing up, I grabbed food and weapons on the way , and just kept running. Not once was I hit by a zombie. In total I had to shoot two zombies but I probably could have avoided that. Several times I had an entire town full of zombies chasing me , as long as I kept running they eventually all gave up. Being sneaky now is actually a disadvantage. Before you wade in with comments about players, this is a thread about zombies not snipers, but remember running full speed and zig zagging is pretty effective against most enemy snipers as well. I think zombies need to be more tenacious, they need to keep looking for you for longer. They also need to be more attracted to gunshots. I fired a twelve bore in a barn and didnt draw any more agro! I remember in the beginning crouched in a barn not wanting to fire because I knew wed end up with a horde of 30 -40 coming in and it would be an epic battle for survival. Edit: the vote is broad to get general opinion, post your specific issues below. So if you think zombies are fine but players should get tired, you still think overall the zombie situation is too easy.

Exactly Crockett, it used to be that you were scared of zombies and had to sneak around towns, cr*pping yourself. It was one of the things that made Dayz great, the constant fear when you had to go and get some loot. That is now gone. -

Ragnor you can still have an overall opinion and state specific solutions in your post. I cant really see myself how anyone can think they are not too easy right now as I have mentioned a couple of times if you keep running they are absoloutly no threat. Sutinen, Your answer should still be too easy then. Just because the solution comes from making the players get tired it doesn't change the fact that the current zombie situation is too easy wouldn't you say ? -

Well said moron (lol). I believe Rocket has stated slow zombies arn't an option, a: they are infected. B: it means greater numbers and more server load to make them dangerous. Fast zombies can be dangerous in smaller numbers which is better for the game. -

Well clearly the point of a wipe is that the rampant duping the infinite top end loot tent cities mean that a disproportionate number of players have, well everything. It's pretty obvious. Please read my original post it answers your questions. so far 78% in favour of a wipe so I guess it's not just me that feels this way. -

How fucking win is that... ? " Grow up. Im not crying just observing that the situation is out of control a reset would at least set things straight for a bit. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain. And no one has mentioned resetting stats. Your right white tiger, a quick tent fix and a reset might be a short term solution though.
