So when playing Day z I have two options now, walk for 30 minutes or just not play day z . Include a respawn function or I advise others to not support the official release of the stand alone. If these are the type of decisions that are going to be made I wont expect things to get better. - I'm all for immersion but I play games to have fun. im not playing dehydrated forest running simulator 2012. if someone is abusing it, I expect them to fix THAT problem- and not just lazily pull the whole respawn function. I would gladly get my knees snapped by someone cheating rather than having those in charge ruin gameplay as a whole. 'just die another way' doesn't cut it when zombies don't spawn outside of towns. we've all heard the complaints with the wilderness spawn point. this is doing more harm then good. a request from those playing the game for the sake of enjoying the game, put it back. TL;DR I don't always make video games, but when I do I include a respawn function in case my modified game doesn't work correctly.

solid info to have- so if there are enough people mashing respawn that its messing up network stuff (didn't notice anything but then again im not working the internals), shouldn't that be an indicator that people want some sort of change in the spawn system? just hoping they find a way to handle the extra strain or change gameplay so people don't feel like they have to respawn to enjoy the game.

yep, and as someone playing a game that is still developing I am providing my opinion on the recent changes. I do not care for it and I feel that others feel the same way. alternatives ~cyanide capsule items ~Auto-run toggling there is a large distance to cover, I would like to spend more time playing a survival game.
