What an original thread. First we heard any of these stuff. We never encountered any bugs and we dont get any hackers on us. My advice is to go to your kitchen, grab some milk and cookies and wait for the upcoming patches/fixes in the future.

What the F*CK is wrong with this forum community ?!
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to Spidey (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Currently, this mod is one mayor BLAST across the gaming community world wide. So offcourse its gonna have all kind of people in here. Mostly immature kids complaining about all sorts of things, haters and trolls. And also a small percentage of mature users who actuly can make some valid points. Once this mod is ,,settle,, down, only devoted fans and mature audience will stay. Right now,you can read all kind of shit on this forum. (mostly completly irrelevant and random threads) But once the dust get's back to ground it will be a nice little/moderate community and you will be able to hear your own voice again. -
Should i become a hunter of men?
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to Jack Lz's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
There is a third option. (the most uncommon one in the world of DayZ) Became a Bandit hunter. Yes,its challenging, yes its hard to separate survivor from a bandit. But with practise, determenation and high persistance it is manageable. Punish them for their crimes. Also there is an additional option (the most challenging and riskiest one) Be a helping hand and heal other survivors on your way, maybe even form a group of banit hunter's (need alot of fricking trust for that one to succed) 98% of DayZ community are bandits and cold blooded kilelrs looking for fun cuz they discovered everything this mod had to offer. NO! I'll keep the focus on my main goal and won't turn my playing style of DayZ into another random sandbox shooter. (if i want that il just step by my good old friend Battlefield/Call of duty and refill my need for killing) Gonna push forward the hardcore way and won't let the system breaks me! ,,Fresh meat,, (new players) will always be needing a guide and a helping head instead of a bullet to the head over 500 times. -
Becoming your typical FPS PvP game?
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to [email protected]'s topic in New Player Discussion
The game was meant to be a brutally hardcore experiance in first place. Dying by a bandit, cold blooded killer or just guy looking for some fun is what makes this game such an awesome experiance to manny players. After playing DayZ for such a long time kinda changed my temper for the better. (i got more mature approach and attitude aswell) No more raging or screaming at my screen. Now i can play any kind of game and laught at my own death! -
This is a completly new thread. First time hearing about hackers... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

If you take this, you wont be needing any upgrades in upcoming 4-5 years (all games on MAX settings with high res) That is all , i'll stop spamming this thread now. -

Here is my opinion what you shoud get (its a best bank for that buck) Dont go INTEL with low budget,go AMD (you can get the amd for much cheaper price with similar performance) Graphic card (AMD or NVIDIA its preety much the same but get high quality one, this is where most of your budget goes) I'll recomment AMD 6850 HD or GTX 560 Ti (or non ti) Go with 4 GB of ram (upgrade it later save the money for GPU for now) HDD got his price insanely high cuz of the floods and all (go with 500 GB instead of 2 T without HDD,that budget cant afford one) regular dvd drive Comp case is at your own disposal (choose it on your own) Good luck! -

To be even more honest, for the price it gives its not that bad after all. (exept for that GPU,it is preety outdated) -

You shoud first asked how ,,deep is his wallet,, before making that kind of suggestion. Intel is far more expensive What's your budget man? Limited? -

Not bad but IMO i woud slightly change some of the things -
He is eather a trolling white boy or a Jamaican. Why is everyone ,,tryng,, to be so douche in here. Relax people. Its good to have an Jamaican survivor, can you imagine your first encounter with him? It woud go similar to: ,,Friendly?,, ,,Fo shu my brotha, just reeelax and come hea to share som of the good stuff togetha....the ganja ma man!,,
-
It really deppends how manny friends from real life you got playing this game. As we know words such as ,,trust,, is a foreign thing in the world of DayZ. But if you are looking for a DayZ random companion (or doing something completly retarded IMO,such as asking for one here in the forum) It goes down to your own playing style. Loner or going in a group (can't say teamwork cuz it requires maximum trust) Loner is more hardcore for me cuz it requires determenation and strong mentality of not getting bored or turning in something that you are not by nature. (turning from survivor into bandit or worse ... a cold blooded killer) Going as group may get more fun,yes i agree, but ONLY if (like i said) you got real friends playing it. Otherwise you woud be fooled by another random ,,fake,, friendly player who want to join. You will team up,you will go together...but eventualy one of you will get a better equipment and other will get jealous filled with the stavation of arming himself with better defence system. He will shoot you in the head when you least suspect it.

Eather deal with it and continue playing like rest of us do or quit and get back when its ,,fixed,,. The threads about ,,hacker's,, are swarming all around dayzforum, you didnt report anything new.

That feeling when you get shot after days of surviving
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to porkyham's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It is boring when you dont know what to do with all that gear. However in my case i just go on survival marathon and a bandit hunter. Sharing my gear in return for eternal frienship. (rare one) Bored? When i just dont feel ,,splinter cell,, type of playing it and im armed to the teeth i just go on a zombie rampage!!! Cleaning the town from the infection... -
Now i already know that there is over 30 topics about this subject so hold your pants on. When i mean stopped i currently mean on Rocket releasing a new patch who shoud include few changes. Like few seconds delay when the player log off, wich means his character will stay ingame for a few seconds longer and then disappear. Yes,i know that alot of you will disagree with this option cuz its to risky of loosing your stuff but you gotta agree that its also alot and i mean ALOOOT better then getting all that frustation of every second player taking advantage of ALT+ F4. So...any thoughts?

Are there still friendly Survivor?
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to milch's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I got myself in a similar situation (but from the diffrend angle) I was in the position of that guy with the gillie suit. I came across a wounded player in the middle of nowhere,a field to be more accurate. He got broken bones and heavily wounded. He asked for help in a return of friendship and hidden supplies. I agreed,it was a fair deal (i woud had helped him anyway, its in my nature) I didnt had any medical supplies on me so i had to run to the nearest town/hospital. The risk was however to high, because i was fully loaded with a sniper, gillie suit and lot of mags with me. I ussualy play as a silent ,,bantit hunter,, and mainly survivor but seeing a wounded player asking for help just gets over my precatious and personal rules of survival (wich is stupid) Anyway, when i got to the town i cautiously aproached the hospital to recover some supplies and bail out as fast as i can so i can save that guy. 5 seconds of looking in my inventory and sorting it out ... i was gunned down by a sniper, and that guy died because i never got back to him. My point is. IMO if a survivor/bandit doesn't see you and you have him on your iron sight. Dont take him down UNLESS he sees you, and you sense him as a thread. ,,Shoot on sight,, shoud only be used in self deffence. And all of this is coming from a medic/bandit hunter survivor. -
You are short on temper and patience. I wonder how didn't you quit so far? With all those PvP,glitches, bugs, stress and frustation... Everyone was aware of how glitchy ArmA 2 engine was even before buying it. And for those who didn't they got pass that after first 2 weeks of playing DayZ. I don't see anyone else complain about it ,cuz like everyone keeps saying the mod is still in ALPHA. In the future when DayZ became standalone game on its own, fixes and updating patches will do its best to fix ArmA 2 engine bugs. And about hackers....what about them, every game who gets the blast hype on the net must bring along somehing negative with her. Like trolls, haters and our fav ... HACKERS. Oh yeah and complaining kids.

By adding this feature you woud change one large factor of the game - REALISM. By seeining ,,who killed who,, changes alot of things. Eventualy...you woud be turning this game into FPS deathmach. IMO bad idea.
