Which Graphic Card is best?
VaultDweller (DayZ) replied to hallgraeme's topic in Technology/Programming
Well, not a fanboy or anything (i prefer nvidia,still...i used both cards and both gaved me amazing performances over the years) GTX 680 is preety much a monster at the moment. But so as AMD HD 7970. They are almost equal. Going for eather of these 2 wont be mistake. -
I was talking about an ACC. Steam is your online gaming shelf. Buying a game from steam automaticly gets atached to your acc. All you need from a diff comp is steam on it and an internet.

Or it will make this game what was intended in first place. To be a survival simulator instead of FPS PvP rampage. It woud boost your survival insticts and encountering a guy who found a rare weapon woud be like seeing a angel (or demon) himself. Zombies woud also make a far larger thread. (plus making some modification about their AI and movements later in the game) This entire idea woud turn a game back to its original roots,it woud reduce PvP (almost estinquished it) and add a greatly larger challange and better feel into the game. Real surviving experiance. This is one of the best suggestions ever posted.

Wanna bet? i5 2500 K (with good OC) can last 5 years without any problems or slowdowns. (you woud probably be ending up switching your GPU then this CPU,its way ahead of its time) GTX 680 (i dont see any problem in here) rest is not that importen for the performances. -

Easy upgradable and 8 GB is more then enough for todays standards. 16 is for high editing not gaming. -

Finnaly. Motherboard - ASUS P67 or Z68 (socket, best for OC the CPU) CPU - i5 2500K 3.3 (or i7 2600 lil unecessery if u ask me,for gaming tho,for editing its best) ps : with that budget u can even go on with ivy bridge GPU - GTX 680 or (nvidia fanboy here) , jk or AMD 7950 ,both cards rock. RAM - 8 GB Corsair (or Kingston, any brand mark will do) PSU - 650- 700 W (Corsair,Cooler Master,Chieftek) Case - Cooler Master HAF (my prefrence u chosoe whatever u like) BUDGET - around 1100 - 1300 $ ALL GAMES ON MAX !!! no need for any upgrade in future 4-5 years. -
And how does steam restrict you from using multiple computers? All you need is your email confirmation, putting a code and you are rdy to go.
-
And offcourse u can play it on multiple PC's (with your login ACC)

Your budget? -
This is DayZ. Not left 4 dead into sandbox style of gameplay. I woud however put them to be able to overhealm you while you are indoors with only 1 exit to get out. (and not slowing them down as in current state of the game)

Thats why you use something whats its called ,,editing software,, like Sony Vegas. FRAPS put a file in a larger format cuz he keep the same quality of video when he records it. -

That PC i preety much outdated for todays standards. In 2012/2013 u wont be able to play almost any game on a stable FPS framerate.
