Honestly I hated the weapon customization in New Vegas, it ruined the fallout feel. I think it would do the same thing to the survival feel of this game. -
Did a search and to my surprise found no topics so here goes; To put it blatantly, I think the fall damage needs to be altered/reduced. Am I alone in this? The other day my friend was up in a deer stand, and he accidently walked out without using the ladder. He feel a terrifying 6-7 feet and broke his leg and lost most of his health. I could fall that far flat onto my back and be totally fine... I think the fall damage needs to be reduced some. Not a lot, I want it to remain realistic obviously, but I think it's a bit rediculous. The human body is resiliant. People can fall of roofs of single (even possibly 2) story buildings and be totally fine, but the fact that a few feet can potentially break bones or even kill you is absurd in my opinion. Anyone else feel the same or am I all alone in this broken-leg and death ridden boat?

But an entirely different magazine shape? Well, since you can turn 6 colt bullets into a magazine of 7, I guess this should be acceptable as well.

Hello, So the devs have a rule. A very good rule and I think is a very good idea and prevents a lot of abuse and clan takeovers. I'm of course talking about the rule where you cannot have a private server. This would allow players to stockpile weapons without other players interfering. They could then join a full server and own everyone with their stuff. However, plenty of people out there still wish to play without other people around, and they are punished. Me and my friend are sick of the attitude in this game and how Every. Single. Person. we encounter shoots us on sight without any questions or hesitation, even if we are unarmed and say friendly. I have an idea. This would let people play alone or with friends and nobody else, without allowing them to stockpile and move things onto a full server for some easy PvP domination. Have two character saves. A local one, and a @Hive one. The server choses which to load. For example, I make a private server for just me and my friend. We would use our Local saves. They are just saved on our computers. We use them in our game and we don't have to deal with people. Then if we feel like playing legitimately with others again, we join a server with, say, 45/50 people. That server is @Hive enabled, so it loads our seperate @Hive save, and we must restart. Thus preventing us from stockpiling or abusing the 'solo' play mode. Then if we move back to my private server, it loads that Local save again. I really hope something like this is implemented soon, as the game is no longer any fun when I die literally every 10 minutes from dicks who just shoot EVERYONE. I understand that bandits and PvP are a crucial part of legit play, but it's no longer fun when 100% of the people are bandits. However I also understand why you have Hive and no private servers, and I certainly agree with that and hope they are kept seperate. I just want you to implement something to allow people to play privately on a seperate save. I love Dayz and think it's amazing. (Except this bloody bandit mess :P) Keep up the great work. :) Regards, Yatagan -
Broken Bones has to go or fix your coding

Me and my friend have between the two of us gotten at least 10-15 broken bones. Only 2 were legit. (One he fell too far, only like 7 feet so not legit in my eyes, but not a bug; the other time I shot him xD) The rest were because of lag or engine weirdness. I've broken my leg by being prone less than like 8 ft away from a wall and turning so my legs come near it. Stuff like that should be fixed at some point... I think that's what the OP meant by 'fix your code'. -

Wire doesn't stop zombies whatsoever. They walk through it like it's not even there. And since 99% of wire use is by trolls randomly blocking everything, I agree it needs to be removed until a more full system is implemented or players can slowly move or it or something. -

Except that that would tell people joining the game exactly where people on the server are... I think instead the load times should just be optimized. (If they can be more)

The issue with measuring murders/banditry is the means of the murder. If someone attacks me and I kill him, I get a murder. I would be red and everyone would kill me. (Thus making them red) I think that's why the whole humanity/camobandit thing was removed. Because it couldn't accurately measure someone's true intentions when murdering someone.

I think the blood/health thing is one area where game design and gameplay outdoes realism. Giving the player a fairly clear indication of their health is like game design 101, and VERY rarely should you break this rule. -
screaming zombies/consistency in aggro

My issue is that there seems to be no seperation in sound from when they are aggro'd or not. They are silent when aggro'd sometimes, and they will randomly shreak when not aggro'd. Consistency in sound would be awesome here. -
True, but I'm thinking more like what people consistantly do. Damn near every able bodied human could fall even 8-9 feet onto their feet no problem. Part of this may be a bug, because I've dropped 1 foot and broken my limbs somehow...

The fact that they are pitch black most of the time and there could be other players already makes them terrifying. I think that random zombie spawns (pretty low chance?) could be added to spice forest up in general, day or night. Because it is otherwise for the most part a deadspace in the gameplay where you run in between towns.

Like I said I understand why bandits are there, and that it's an aspect of the gameplay, but (and I admit I've only been playing this game for 8 days now, but I probably have damn near 100 hours in it already) Every. Single. Person. I encounter shoots me on sight. That sounds like a problem to me. It's like player morale is low, and one guy got killed no warning, so he started doing that to others and it spread and now EVERYONE does it. I've been killed with absolutely 0 warning literally like 500 times. Doesn't matter what server I'm on, or how many people are on it. It's going to happen to me. That seems like a problem... :/ -

Yeah. I've had countless people attack me, and I return fire and move in on them, only to find that they are gone. They'll enter a one door building and I run in guns a-blazin or use a grenade or something. Gone. AltF4 or aborted. -_- -

If nothing like this is ever implemented (Which I do understand), then somehow, somewhere, something needs to be done about the fact that literally 99% of players are complete *jerk* bandits. I've been playing nonestop and I have yet to meet a single person to didn't try to snipe me from the bushes. Doesn't matter if I have a hatchet, a handgun, a tactical nuke launcher or no weapon at all... Everyone tries to kill me the instant I enter their vision. -
I find PILES of knives, but I agree that matches are too rare. Especially since it's the only way to start a fire. You can find Oil barrels, but there's like 4 in the entire map and they're in set places.

I think it should be in the middle. Have a tiny/no gun? Run faster than the zombies! Have a GIANT beast of a weapon? You're slower than them and they can get you. It would add balance and a true negative side to the giant powerful weapons.
