Going past the obvious mistakes in your grammar, since when did they officially say that they were wanting to take out 3rd person and put in skills, levels and challenges? I'm actually curious where you got your information.

This is quite the shitty discussion then. I for one think you should chill out. I know that "People are going to disagree and bicker but that is what people do.". I wasn't saying they didn't, all I was saying was that this "discussion" has turned to shit and it's not doing anyone any good. However I know that I can be wrong at times. That was for last year, they wanted to release the game in December (which obviously didn't happen). If they meant that for this year, there would have to be some VERY serious problems.

There's just one thing I'm not as clear on for the standalone, what do you guys think the customization will be like? I know rocket wants to add in different coats and stuff, but I'm talking about the actual person customization. Do you think it'll be the same as in the mod (which actually wasn't too bad, it's just that I like to be able to have some more variety then set faces and glasses) or will it be a completely different system? And good to know Rocket is still kickin, have some beans good sir :beans:

Alright guys, everybody is entitled to their opinion, that's true, but you should also show some god damn respect. Like what the hell is wrong with you guys? YOU didn't pay for DayZ, Rocket and the team don't owe you anything. So yeah you might of bought ArmA 2 and made Bohemia a lot of money. Rocket didn't think this project would be this big, but he gave you people a free and awesome mod, and made it work, now he's undergoing some stress, and you guys bitch at him so much it's disgraceful. Different people have different ways of dealing with things, so even if you think you would tough it out and rush a release, that's fine for you. But stop your complaining and be respectful, yeah it's good to give constructive criticism, but when it gets to the stuff on this thread there has to be a line. I get this from time to time, I think my problem I think is my dual-core, I'm thinking if you upgrade to a quad-core then it should stop. (This of course assumes you have a dual-core)

Yeah there isn't much more then keep trying and learn what tactics work for you most. Whatever happens to you in-game you will always have experience, so get as much as you can.

Well, they are technically deer stands, but do kinda look like guard towers, most of the time they have good loot though. The camp is more so south east of the airfield. If you go directly south there should be a town and to the east should be a clearing with green medical tents surrounded by sand bags and barbed wire. But then again as others said, you can just follow the glitches. You can also just use this map, http://dayzdb.com/map#4.048.128 the deer stands are the red squarish things (?). But anyways, as you can see there are 4 deerstands beneath the airstrip, I usually find AK's and shotguns there. Hope this makes a bit more sense.

Go for Bolota, south of the airfield is a medical camp with a deer stand in each cornor, go along the sand bag walls and you will find a spot with no barbed wire to vault over. Lots of zombies though, so get ready for a fight inside. (There is always no loot in the tents, just go for the stands.)

To Owner and Matt, thanks for not killing me at Balota, and sorry for you being eaten alive at the airstrip :/ I guarded your stuff for a few hours but it seemed to weren't coming back so I logged off. To Renis at the Balota airstrip, Just want you to know I wasn't the one that killed you, I guess while you were typing that zombie got you. Don't worry I avenged you with a grenade to a couple zombies trying to eat you. To Leaf. You're awesome, we had a good run until I got shot in Elecktro :( These were all on CA servers (I think) and you would of saw me as "Jason" or "Shepardx"
