You could make items (including weapons) a lot rarer. You would have to sneak in the buildings or find a way to take away the zombies in order to find stuff. Also true for the ammunition, if you only have 1 mag for your recently found 1911, you'll think twice before using it (...against a player, against zombies..) It becomes a real zombie apocalypse vs men game and not the deathmatch type of game it is now. All of this + the fixed voice chat and the removal of the global chat = solution to the extensive pking. Maybe people will finally start to help each other if the game is harder. edit : it also encourage trading. If you have a mag of 1911 but not the weapon and another guy has the weapon but no ammunition, and it appears that he absolutely needs food (because food would be rarer as well, so this kind of situation would actually happens), well, will you trade your unique can of food for the gun ? etc

Come on rocket. Do it please! Also make the items a lot more rare. In an hour or so, now that I know the game pretty well, I can almost be fully geared. That's not exactly what I expected from DayZ. It can be more difficult than that. It should be! ps: it is also almost impossible to die from thirst or hunger... there is way too many ressources

I never make friends, all I find is some people one shoting me in the back or some arseholes you were friendly with just before getting shot in the face. I dunno in other regions but in europe, it's just deathmatch. "Shoot everything that moves" rule. That's kinda sad for a such great game. -
Has anyone ever considered going to all those locations in the same order they are broadcasted ?

What you were doing: see "what happened". *Current installed version: 1.5.7 *Server(s) you were on: FR1. *Your system specs: irrelevant. *Timeline of events before/after error: climb up onto a deerstand, drop a chemlight, going back on the ground because chemlights go through the floor when on deerstands, pick it up, threw a few other chemlights that bugged.

Death is not death in dayz. With a more "realistic" death, I would probably think twice before pulling the trigger. Do I really want the guy in my ironsight to be kicked for 24H ? Also, that would mean more complicated relationships with the other players. Am I gonna trust this random guy, risking being unable to play for X hours ?

Change the death system to be more "death like". Like if you get killed you won't be able to respawn for 24 hours. This would force people to be careful and would make the decision of either killing someone or letting him live a lot more difficult to take. Think about it.

Hello, here is one very annoying bug: I've just found a flashlight, I was very very happy since I would be able to travel at night without risking a heart attack. But by manipulating the inventory and the bag, it mysteriously disappeared. It's not the first time it happens to me, but this time I'm really annoyed. I really wanted that flashlight you know x) Is there any way I can get it back when it happens (it not on the floor though ..) ? Do you guys had this problem too ?
