climbing a ladder to get away from a horde of zombies chasing me, once i was at the top i didn't even think to check twice if they were still following me because i thought zombies would be stupid. a few second later there were about 10 zombies on the roof, mauling me to death. zombies should not be able to climb ladders.

i had this problem, what fixed it for me was downloading six updater and right clicking the dayz server i want to play then pressing "install or update mods". after i did that i was no longer getting kicked back to the server selection list, and i did everything you have done first.
