I don't think he was saying make the game easier for new players, just somehow make it more difficult for high end players. Some how preventing hording and doing away with duping would be a start. The game is much funner when you don't do that stuff, but also much more fustrating as you know that everyone else does. Then they go snipe cherno.

Completely agree on this. Coming into this game as someone who just happen to have arma 2 and decided to try it out after hearing about it. The learning curve was ridiculous...even when I knew the basic controls from arma! What you said stands, the learning curve is ridiculously stupid off the coast. But as you get experienced, even just a month or so in as I am. You begin to see that curve take a nose dive, you can avoid it by limiting how many tents you use, not hoarding vehicles, and avoiding duping like the plague... But purposely gimping yourself against duping bandits, asshat hackers, and Shoot on Sight clans/groups/survivors/friends leads to you saying "Why the hell am I still playing fair when no one else is?". It's really sad that the community hoards 10+ vehicles to all corners of the map and uses them as inventories just to have them. And dupes because they can. The only way to beat em is join em...and you may ruin the game for yourself by doing it, such a crappy situation.

You have my beans, because it truly is the worst feeling when you're trying to help people by counter sniping / watch out. You get payed back with the karma of an invincible hacker shooting you in the face. It has happened to me.

Hey your character models detail looks very nice, without going to far off topic here. Which video setting adjusts character model and is there a way to just improve the character model without have 20 foot grass popping up everywhere?

I must be lucky, probably something like 12+ bandit kills total, all through I mean.

I'm no brony...but it appears that the bronies you guys can't stand seem to talk much more intelligently, and just be much more tolerant and less aggressive than most of you. Which I don't really have a problem with. I mean... with a generation of internet tough guys on here bronies are always a welcome site for me.

What is the Humanity cap? I heard a lot of people say it is 2500 but mine is at 12501 and has been like that for a while, not going up anymore. I have 0 murders and 1 bandit kill? So is the cap really 2500? is mine just bugged?

I thought this would be a great mechanic to add into the game, I thought of it while reading about loot inflation. I purpose that there be lockboxes that you find that bind so you can only plant one per character. You would have the only key to this lockbox and where you hide the box is up to you. It could hold maybe a little less than a tent but only you could enter it with your own key. But this doesn't mean others cant get in it, if they kill you they can loot your key from your body, and then the fun begins scavenging for your locked box and whatever precious goodies you could have stored in there. This would completely replace tents and if the duping was put to and end could really add another layer of gameplay to killing someone and looting them. Anyone else have any idea's on how something like this could be implemented?, I just kind of thought it up rather quickly.

My latest pair? off 2 bandits that tried to ambush me while I was making a camp fire, luckily I had a L85 and just enough rounds left. Heard em commin in hard and fast ran back a little and let that thermal unload. Also got an extra gps and NVGs for my friend who came on later, thanks guys :).

Unfortunately even if the MOD (read MOD not standalone) ever gets out of alpha to beta or even stable state, there will always be the same amount of hackers as they have kind of stated they can't do much about it. So ALPHA is absolutely an excuse for bugs but NOT for the hacking. :)
