  1. great post thanks for sharing!
  2. Did you even read the thread? I explained my accidental typo in one of my first responses. It's obvious you guys cannot handle a simple discussion. Have fun, thanks for the few who can actually read.
  3. And thank you for taking the time to post in my thread. You have raised a good point, I browe the forums often (mostly a distraction from work, and what not) and I hear this crap all the time "I used to be friendly, now its just easier to Kill On Sight" The purpose of ths thread is to show that you should resist this mentality. At least if you consider yourself a humane survivor. Let's be real here, this game in its current state is in alpha form. There really is no possible incentive to band together and eliminate the zombie infestation and resume life as it was before. Because the true meaning of the game is the conflict which arises from such an outbreak. That being said, there is a time and place for conflict. If you waste potentially rare resources killing me then not even looting my body that is a complete waste.
  4. Great post! This is just a discussion and I am glad we are keeping it that way.
  5. Thank your taking the time to post in my thead. It's great to find someone else out there who enjoys the same playstyle as myself. I am not a huge FPS Shooter person, is there any tips you could provide? Either way you have my beans, and I will continue to not shot on sight. Even if I die a milion times, I will learn to make this playstyle work.
  6. some good discussion points. Thank you all for your opinions! I guess the conflict is necessary or there would be zero purpose. I just have a problem with people who go out of there way to grief others. This is something I shall explore further. I will check out the Coalition, sounds interesting!
  7. As I previously stated I've been playing for about a month. I play pretty casually as well, but I always remain as stealthy as possible. I used to play on whatever server worked until I discovered DayZ commander, now I play on a variety of servers, none of them are private.
  8. Perhaps this is where we disagree, senseless killing serves no purpose. That being said, I suppose a server full of humane survivors would be quite boring once you have everything you need.
  9. The true beauty of this game is the open world, hopefully the creators will provide the necessary tools for the true humane to remain just that. I know little about the humanity system as it currently exists, and I dont think I've even seen a bandit thus far. I just think its a complete waste of a huge and open world to become a deathmatch. Although battle is a part of the game, I believe it doesn't have to be the whole game.
  10. I appreciate your opinion, thank you for taking the time to reply. I've been playing this game now for about a month, The reason I made this post is because I always hear this argument - yadda yadda I tried in the past to be humane, and it never works out so now I kill on sight. I will not accept this fate just yet, and just give in to the dark side.
  11. Thanks for the replies it's good to know that there are others who play this game like I do. I understand your situation, and for the most part I play this game solo. However if you have a couple of friends and are cooperating together, and you come across a lone survivor and are competing for resources, why must you kill that survivor? If you truely believe in humanity, as I do, you would only resort to killing when given no other choice. If you consider this person a threat, then why not disarm them and let them keep their life? Confront them at gunpoint, let them know your intentions and if they comply they can live. Twice now I have come across groups of people, I salute, I drop to the ground, I press CTRL+R and lower my weapon (if i even have one) And they would proceed to kill me anyway. If you truely believed in humanity, you would give everyone a chance to live, and only kill when absolutely necessary.
  12. Sorry about that, I am web developer and sometimes I mix up site and sight.
  13. I believe in humanity. I may have died numerous times, and lost some stuff - but that stuff is just fluff. I may die 80% oft the time, but the remaining 20% of the time I am pleased to make a new friend. In a scary world, knowing that there is a few people that believe in humanity the way you do, really makes you think we can get through this hell world. If you see me in game just give me a friendly hello, or shoot me and take my axe and food and drink that will sustain you for a couple of hours. Kill on site? I say Hello on Site, no matter how many times I die, I will never kill on site, because I believe in humanity.
