    Exposure

I honestly thought that was planned to do with a virus mechanic. I'd think if you're too cold or too hot or too wet you'd get a little icon indicating it? Like on my aircon remote. A sun for hot, a snowflake for cold, a water drop for wet (although it'd be easy to confuse that with bleeding).

    Players Turn Into Zombies

There might be potential for an infection mechanic however. Each time you get attacked by a zombie you have a chance of becoming infected with the virus. Over time your temperature increases, especially with exertion, and if it reaches a critical level you "die" and become a zed, game over, start again. You could avoid it if you could find and take some rare anti-virals in time. Might make zombies a little more dangerous, which might be a good thing, or they might need nerfing in some other way to make up for it.

    depth and choice with weapons

Well ah, the US did have a presence in Chernarus... it's kind of the premise of the entire ArmA2 campaign. So you'd be reasonably justified in having a few M16s lying about. Definately interested in seeing more civilian weapons though. And it'd be nice if the ammunition could be used across different weapons more than is the case now, I don't know how well that'd work though. One potential problem with adding a lot more guns, is it becomes a lot harder to find ammo for them if there is a similar increase in the number of ammo types. If you just increase the rate of ammo spawning overall then it'll probably work out to a surplus of ammo, as people won't be competing for resources as much. Right now if I have a winchester I don't need to carry enfield ammo, but then a lot of people probably have winchesters. If only 2-3 people on a server are using an ammo type its a different kettle of fish.
  4. Lol I literally couldn't play more than 5 minutes of Penumbra. It wanted me to go into a dark room or something and I was just like, NO I QUIT OK.

    Exposure

I mostly agree, but I don't like the idea of a poncho/raincoat, it seems like more effort than it's worth. And if you're going to have fires, matches need to be more common, or some other means needs to be provided. Shelter isn't a bad idea though. Although I don't want to speak for him, I think rocket is definitely interested in the survival/exposure aspects of it, based on what I've read in the interviews. I'm very interested to see what he comes up with.

Any chance for being able to play as a girl?

I can't see the problem with someone creating a few female bodies for the male animations. I wonder though, will anyone think twice before shooting someone in a female body? And are we going to wind up with a post-apocalyptic everquest, where the men are men, and so are the women, as we used to say.
  7. It might be nice to have some more visual indications of extreme thirst and hunger, but I have to say, the first thing I thought looking at those pictures was "Sanity System". I mean it's a horror game right, so it makes perfect sense that the more trauma your character endures, the more damaged their state of mind might be. Attacked by zombies? Sanity goes down. Kill a friendly player? Sanity loss! Spend too long at an extreme but non-lethal level of thirst or hunger, or cold or wet or whatever else? Sanity loss! Loneliness could also factor in. You could restore sanity by avoiding zombies, and keeping warm and safe.

Horses - We all need horses

I want horses, just so I can snipe someone off theirs. I mean come on, talk about a target. I would hope they'd fall comically backwards out of the saddle and be dragged off by their panicked horse, rather than just slump forwards.

    Notebook

I think ArmA already has a form of notebook. I remember it used to have flavour text stuff in the campaigns. It's the Journal I think, 'j' to access, but I don't think it works properly in this and I can't remember ever being able to write in it. I do like the idea of being able to write in my own journal, and read the ones on corpses.

    Melee weapon trade-off

I think the drawback with melee weapons is you have to be near a zombie to use it, which is a dangerous proposition in the first place. I suggest the following: 1. Melee weapons take up the primary weapon slot, and don't break and don't tire you more than normal. 2. You randomly start with a melee weapon such as a baseball bat, or a fire axe. Optional: Knives for the sidearm slot, can be used in place of a hunting knife for gutting. Optional: Have the melee weapon at start replace the makarov rather than complement it. The advantage of starting with a melee weapon in your primary slot is a) you have something to use when you have no ammo, right now you can't even punch zeds, b) you can climb ladders.
