I get into fire fights with 5 different people in span of like 10mins, by some miracle i survive crawling away bleeding with broken leg... Fortunately i was able to bandage and morphine my self, now with very low health i am in search of animals or stash of beans to recover. Suddenly i hear gun shots very close so, climb the nearby ladder to avoid being seen/get high ground whatever, glitch at top of ladder fall break my leg again, unconcious and bleeding.... and death. /sigh Welcome to DayZ.

People don't look at what skin your wearing before they shoot... Its more OH CRAP moving target kill it! I think folks want bandit skins removed so bandits can wear ghillie suits again, simple as that. Personally i like the look of old school bandit skins, ones you see in lingor now. In my opinion they should just have alternate clothing that anyone can wear at anytime and get rid of humanity meter, not really doing anything anyways.

M24 is the true Sniper rifle of snipers imo, its far less forgiving than most of the rifles out there and insanely accurate. Pro's: Very accurate, if you have exact range on stationary target at 800m headshot is a done deal. Heck if you correctly lead your target at 800m headshots on moving targets are doable. Is zeroable Ammo conversion: 4 m24 mags convert into 1 dmr mag Con's: Limited magazine size Very slow rate of fire. Does not work with NVG's The saying one shot one kill is this weapon basically, hard to get second shot off before they are in cover.

Will we have multiple chars in Dayz standalone? Be nice to have different playstyles without losing all your gear.

Ok not sure this is right place to post this but here goes. So during the day at random times my screen light will increase in intensity till i can't see at all (Like looking directly in sun), then it will fade.. This happens almost everytime i look thru a scope or binoculars, have to close scope/binocs immediately to be spared from it, good thing i'm not a epileptic or i'd be dead by now. Anyone else get this bug/glitch? And is there some graphic setting i can do so i don't get blinded?

Mine is locked at 2500 with no murders and i have a bandit skin for some reason.

Game purchase only. Studio developed Studio servers Micro transactions are ok, as long as it doesn't give you a advantage against another player.. Use it for character slots, Customizations and whatnot.

1.) Have not seen any graphic glitches at all. 2.) I load in hella fast now, 20 secs tops i am in. 3.) I spawn in exactly where i logged out. Not sure why you are having so many problems, i have not seen any of those issues. Perhaps its way you loaded the patch or your settings i dunno.

God why? DMR is far superior imo. The Mil Dots take a little getting use to, but once you know how it works its a amazing rifle not mention insane rate of fire and 20rnd clip vs 5. Oh and DMR works with NVG's :) M24 does not.

Sucks to lose all your stuff to bugs or a hacker, but this is alpha and most recent patch is listed as use at your own risk so shit does happen. So far i've been lucky no glitches or spawning issues, minor thing with logging in with bandit skin only to have it change after 15mins but other than that smooth sailing. As others have suggested send in a bug report. I was going on 12 days alive.. When i notice guy in gillie suit tracking me, he shoots at me and i sprint away to try and find some cover to return fire, we engage and i unload full clip from my m4a1 cco into him at point blank range and it did nothing, he shot me once and i died. IMO Hacker for sure. Go back to try and find my corpse and its gone. So i restart. In 4 hours of normal play i ended up have same if not better equipment, So much of it is luck, getting good loot to spawn or running into that bored player with end game gear that got sloppy and you hit the jack pot.

After i first updated to 1.7.2.5 i also logged in with bandit skin on with no murders, after about 10-15mins would get normal skin again and have all my stats reset. After a few server changes and hours later i log in with bandit skin, stats restored and -3200 humanity, i have never fought another player on this life. Everything seems stable now, my humanity is slowly rising and still have bandit skin, but i have -2100 atm i suspect when that gets to zero i will change to survivor skin. Also i never lost any equipment when it was changing skins on me, although as soon as i logged in i would move stuff in and out of backpack and do same when skin changed on me, not sure if thats what saved my equipment or pure luck.
