Anybody? Seeking a crew still!

Hey everyone. Mature 17 year old player here, from the US (GMT-6). I play afternoon into early morning, but am pretty flexible and available whenever. I've been playing DayZ for a couple weeks now, but since I have two characters I wanted a separate crew to roll with on my 2nd toon. I can snipe or do whatever, and don't really care if I die or not so I'll go balls to the walls to plunder and pillage like a proper bandit! I like being sneaky and tactical when at all possible, but I understand there are times when you have to rise to the challenge and if you take fire, take fire back and take the fight to the enemy. I can essentially fill any role, sniper, overwatch, whatever. I'm flexible and just enjoy playing the game and plundering for me and my crew. I'm not moral-less however, and I generally don't KOS fresh spawns or low-geared players, if they don't fire at me. We all are fresh and new/low-geared at one point, why ruin their day if they pose no threat and have nothing to offer for loot? So hit me up if you want to play! I'm free all day today pretty much. I have Skype, RaidCall, Vent, TS3, and Mumble, obviously have a Mic. Let me know. -Z

Age: 17 but definitely do not lack maturity. Timezone: CST, Central US. How long you have had DayZ: A week or two DayZ Experience: Not extremely extensive, but I'm willing to learn and adapt quickly. Focused and always willing to learn. Definitely don't lack common sense. Clans you have been in before: None so far. Preferred Weapons/Roles: My preferred roles would either be DM (Marksman), or some kind of recon/scout (with an AR more than likely). But honestly will do whatever role. I see that your DayZ component is labelled Survivors, do you have any players that are more Bandit-like in playstyle?

Hey all. I'm not an extremely fresh noobie, but I've only had the game a few days. Solo play is getting boring, and I'd rather instead of surviving reap the work of others and do some guerrilla warfare. That being said, are there any groups of mature players that would be willing to let me 'play' with them, or start a squad with me? I can play pretty frequently, and am willing to learn and adapt quickly. I like being patient, and using like I said, guerrilla warfare. I'm 17 but mature for my age, have a mic and Skype, Vent, TS3, and Mumble. Let me know.

I'd say I'm game, unfortunately I'm not a UK/EU player. :(

Alright I'll hit up the TS3 later. Thanks man! Sounds good. I just don't know where I am. I logged out in like a little place on the coast with railroad tracks inside of what appeared to be a factory of some kind, but it's a really small 'Town', if I'd even call it that.

Hey all, I'm a new player to Day-Z. I have no clue what I'm doing, honestly. I read up on the wiki and everything, but once I get in-game I just go prone and crawl around looking like an idiot. I only found one gun and it was after like 45 minutes of playing, but I didn't have the ammo for it. I don't really have any buds to play with, so do you guys have any tips? Or are there some people I can start playing with or something? It takes so long to run from place to place and as soon as I get somewhere I get shot.

The source is definitely items your character has. I tried a new one and it loaded much faster and was able to access more servers. It's a combination of weapons and possibly other equipment, from what I can tell. Hm...

Vipeax, I finally got it working. After 2 failed attemps of updating BE, it finally succesfully updated it. However, now I'm getting a very odd lighting issue in which it goes from dark to light constantly while moving across an open-area. It looks like pitch-black night, and my character takes two steps and it's super bright again. It didn't do this before this whole update thing.

Funny you say that, because I did try that right before you posted. Unfortunately now I'm completely stuck at loading again, no matter what I do, can't even get into the game.

Thanks, your update at least got my game to join a server. Unfortunately it fails to update BE and kicks me, tried on 3 different servers now. I run around for like 3 minutes, and then get kicked for the BE failing to update.
