Helis are not easy to fly in Arma I would say. They are easy to take off but to do the special stuff - like fast landings (not crashes lol) and knowing how to navigate and evade enemy fire and fly attck runs for a door gunner to get a good bead on an area are all advanced stuff and I wouldn't write off the flight model as easy and basic. Also you should very rarely use auto hover once you get good. Hit me up on steam if you ever need an ace chopper pilot. I have 500+ flight hours in game over the years I guess.

Thems is sour grapes. They probably had nothing except a crowbar and a bandage for loot anyway and you know you fragged em even if the game does not confirm it. Maybe get an Lee Enfield and engage targets at closer range?

Well I am pretty sure you did not read the OP's post then lol . He clearly mentions deathmatch and fire team stuff. That is PvP FYI. And do not make points and then say you cannot argue them - it is pointless. The world is flat. But i do not want to get into that right now.

It is not how long you survive, but what you do while you are alive that is epic and matters. 18 days myself once. Now i rarely last more than two days lol, but i have a lot more fun.

There are other arma II missions you can play with pve or pvp or both. Dayz is meant to be played with as many other players a possible. Like 50 or more ideally. You will get tired of just killing zed and if there are only 10 of you on the server it gets a bit naff. If you find a large 50 man private server i dont see the point. The admins will be more inclined to cheat and you wont know what is fair and what is not. You are missing the whole point of the mod.

Do keep a manual list of names and dates places. Build a SQL db and input all the details so you can create reports. Don't rely on the game to highlight your awesomeness.

I love how everyone expects rocket to fix the script kiddy and 'hacker' issues. This problem has plagued the game from day one since a very long time ago (more than 5-6+ years). It is not rockets job or responsibility. Barely any of you (<5% now I would guess) played this game before the DayZ mod came out. You have no clue. Write to Bohemia and ask them to fix it - but honestly they won't or are not able to technically. The ARMA engines were never meant to be used in intensive PvP situations like this. Nor with persistent playable units. It was designed as a mil sim for mostly coop play. I get tired of these self entitled adolescent little pricks going on about rocket you must fix this hacking or nerf that exploit and make it your number one prio to fix!! He cannot in most cases. There is no prevention other than the cure that is banning CD keys when it is detected. And even that is patchy.
