In the past day that I've played on Lingor Island, I made friends with 8 out of the 10 people that I have seen. I feel like Lingor has more unknowns because it is new, so people try to group up more.

What I did was make a new "Combined Operation" folder on my desktop. I then copy pasted the files from the arma 2 and arma 2 oa directory into that folder. then you put in the @dayz_lingor and @dayz_lingor_island folders into the combined ops folder. then make a shortcut from the arma2oa exe file in combined ops>>expansion>>beta and there ya go

I lost my Ural to our server not saving. It was completely filled of 50 weapons, some of which are 4 SVD Camos, 11 AS50s, 6 M4A1 CCO SD, and 4 MK48 Mod 0, 5 NVG 5 Rangefinders.. not to mention ammo, satchels and coyotes... Deal with it.

Bandit skins don't tell at all what that player is planning on doing. You can't judge from appearance.

Really. I'm the tard? You think this stuff has just started happening? It's been that way for a long time. You and your little ATV oh noes, what did you lose a couple AK's and an Enfield? What about the other people that this has been happening to for a while now where they just lose all of their vehicles and all of their high tier shit?

The server restarts can be really random. Sometimes after a reset only my Ural is at base with a bicycle. Other times all 6 of my vehicles are at base. Other times half are at base and the rest spawn on the roads that we previously were driving on..

It's a glitch. Deal with it. Alpha.

When using a DMR it's harder than you would think to use the mildots to estimate a torso shot from 800 meters out, a headshot would be nearly impossible. Especially if the target is moving.

It's kinda hard to headshot someone from 800 meters out.

Sometimes when my vehicles blow up they respawn at that place where it blew up, so I would check that field again after the restart, it may spawn there.

If you didn't know, you can press, "Page Up" and "Page Down" and it automatically zero's it on those guns... DMR doesn't have that so it requires you to use the mildots to take the shot.

OP said that he want's a more variety of weapons, not an increased number of weapons. I do too. As for the outfits, in a zombie apocalypse every person isn't going to be wearing a baseball cap with kevlar vests on, they will be wearing normal civilian clothes..

I started playing Lingor Island recently and I love their addition to different player skins. I don't see why the actual mod can't do this.

Duping is a problem with the Arma engine, nothing will be fixed about it until the standalone game, so be prepared to see makarovs on the floor as much as you see as50s on dead kiddies.

But only the DMR requires mildots to be used. If you have a rangefinder you can easily get the range and zero an as50 and bang they're dead. DMR takes some thought to know how much you have to aim above to get the desired shot.

I heard that from a bunch of people, I'm still tryin to install mine :(
