back the first day i started,the mod was fairly new,so me and some friends tried it.one of my friends tried to scare us started shooting over our heads with a winchester.not knowing its him,i shot him in the face with my cz.2 minutes after that someone else was missing us,and we killed him.and then my friends shot me cause they thought i was the guy

Giving the new map a try,I spawned east of Tokyo,and I came across the AF.Having only 2 nades i decided to rush in when the guy that was looting the area disconnected to avoid zombie aggro.i Found an AK and i decided to confront him.I didnt know that 4-5 more players were around,some with sniper rifles,some with AK's,and NOT friendly.Server restarted as soon as i made it out of the barrackes alive,so the others would stick around for fresh loot.Enjoy

being able to build/or at least barricade a building and use it as your home it's far more realistic and fun than placing tents,so having a huge prison,and the ability to take over some part of it and build a small base inside it,sounds fun.imagine a prison area,that has lots of buildings,like med tents or hospitals,buildings for food and water,2-3 armories and a huge compound,all together are as big as Cherno.and a huge wall around it,with one main entrance and a couple of holes.a huge group could take over the prison and hold it ,using it as a safe from zombies area,so other players could go in by paying a fee,like medical supplies,ammo,or gas.it's gonna take dayz to a whole new level,allowing the roleplayin/survivalistic fans to have a "town" to settle in,and making the bandits to organize and try to take it over,or sneak in and steal stuff.in my head it seems great :P

I posted it here since other priv hive owners may be able to help me. Me and my clan got a DayZ server from dayz.st Now,we wanna change it to origins,since our custom chernarus version doesnt get regular players but just random dudes that join for pvp and leave when they die. The admin panel thingy doesnt give us the option to change to origin,do you guys know if .st doesnt support it?

thank you all for your replies,i was afraid that we have to rent a server from them.we always had our server on chernarus or lingor but they seem dead now,so we thought we should give origin a try.but we're really happy with .st so i think we'll stick with that,dont wanna give money to them and risk getting a shitty service

So i made this just to see your opinions.Before you vote,i wanna make clear that by "helpfull" i mean admins that teleport/come to you and give you stuff. For example,i was playing in one server,it was me and the admins,and they came to me and duplicated for me a coyote backpack with an as50...They did it to make me stay,they gave it to me as a gift,but it's the reason i never played on their server again,cause it shows me that they duplicate stuff,if not just spawn them.In another server the admin told me to go to lobby and when i logged again i had coyote,m4a1 cco sd,map,toolbox,hatcte,matches,pretty much everything.He did it just because i asked for a spare map...

@dgeesio admins paid for their servers so they should be able to do whatever they want,i agree with that.BUT a message should pop up in the screen,saying that "admin XXXX is now in the admin panel" or something similar,i saw that in many wasteland servers,when the admins werw acessing the admin panel a mssge was saying who was doing it.so after i killed 1 admin 8 times in a row,and he couldnt even shoot straight,and suddenly he apears behind us and kills all 5 of us,we knew he abused powers,we confronted him and he admitted it.so if we had something similar in dayz,admins would think twice before abusing powers.at least thats my solution to the problem,it seems good in my head!

@LoK i dont mean to spam,but i wonder,how did i got banned since i never downloaded anything suspicious? no boosters,no fps fixers,nothing.it's been like half a year since i was banned.the only weired thing is that i played with hackers 3-4 days in a row,everytime they killed me and then tp'd to me and spawned me guns and choppers(it was in Utes,i couldn't say no :P ).i guessed that battleye banned my key cause it was mixed with them or something?I dont expect you to know,even battleye support didnt know,im just putting the question out there just in case anyone knows :P i rebought the game 1 week after i was banned,BE said im not getting unbanned,and steam almost blocked me on customer support cause i was spamming them with questions about replacing my game in my steam account XD never happened :(

I hope that's the right section for it! In my DayZ series on youtube in the last episode my character dies,and i need someone to make me some cinematics showing that someone saved me,like carried me away,bandaged me but got shot in the woods or something like that.I'd really apreciate it if someone will contact me about it so we can expand it a bit,i barely need 30 seconds of cinematic scenes.Sadly the only thing i can offer now is my apreciation and lots of credits on you and your channel,link in description,credits on screen etc,since i dont make money from youtube and i dont have any to spend :/ Contact me here or on steam,add "Ereveton" or "IcyZ" and let me know with a comment so i can accept you

well i used to have a $5 headset,buying a new one pretty much every month cause they kept breaking,but i save some money from my job so i could afford spending $60 on a headset.they're not great,but they do their job!i play lots of other arma mods as well,and many times i'm surviving by using my ears and not the "skills",if you know that someone is about to enter the room and you suprise him,he's done,if you dont get him with the first shots,he's gonna panic.plus,if you hit someone and he hides,most of the times you can hear him bandaging,and its the best time to rush him.

Audio is really usefull.If you dont come face to face with a guy,hearing them is the first thing you wanna do.if you know their whereabouts you can attack or hide.its really usefull especially for building clearring,if you just rush in you'll get killed,or get lots of damage,but by using the sound the others make,helps you organize.plus,it helps knowing how many enemies you got as well.I know better than you,my prof picture is you crying XD

i got my key stolen but i still dont know how since i dl'ed nothing.anyways,steam support says you cannot replace your key,so you either create a new steam account,or get the game off-steam

i got shot in the face with a lee enfield,broken legs,blood almost zero,bleeding from every possible spot,and i still got the guy with my makarov.it's not a bad gun,it's really usefull when it wants to be :P but anyways,I prefer a hatchet or a machete over every secondary

i really hope dayz standalone will prob that Arma 3 gives you the ability to fully customize your gun's scope and stuff,and it's really awesome now about the mod,i dont know if it's possible

Best hack so far,hackers took control of me and my friend,walk in a straight line(opossite to each other) for like 10 meters,shot at each other with our makarovs(missed every shot),then formed a gun with our hands,placed it on our head and shot "YOU ARE DEAD"
