Along with many DayZ servers we started hosting an Origins one as well.We got a stable community,clan wars,and a friendly playerbase,lots of strangers team up and actually be friendly to each other without betrayals!We need clans and players,we need more clans so we can expand the clanwars,and have constant fights everywhere,we need survivors to build bases and stuff,and we need lone wolves that pop out of nowhere to help or kill.We got many vehicles and choppers,and the server is stable,restarts everyday etc.So far we have no hackes on,but when we get our first,we'll whitelist the server. We also need a new mayor of Salvation!After my clan's recent raid in the city noone was left alive,and i elected my self mayor of Salvation!The next person that kills me,gets to be the mayor,and we will gift him his own private chopper! Last times I died(from a player and not getting bugged off a hospital roof) it was after they said "friendly".As soon as i aimed away they shot me.One thing this mod taught me is to never lower your gun.Unless the others demand it,don't do it.dont make yourself more vunerable.If the other guy holsters it as well,then do it and wish to draw faster if you have to. Your OP is good but I don't think it'll ever happen on DayZ mod.Some will try it but most will rage and stop it after they meet players that shoot for fun.Now,if rocket implements in the standalone a key binding with the option to react Friendly/Neutral/Aggresive(like the 0-9 command i guess) with a cool animation,like holstering and wave for friendly,aiming low,but seem suspicious for neutral,and keep aiming to the other guy and just move your head a bit or something for agreesive,then even the fresh-spawn-killing kids will do it,or at least try it

to be honest,there is not neutral stance,only friendly and agressive.Aiming your gun on someone automaticaly shows that you're ready to shoot,thats the only stance you need.Yes,double tap ctr if you want to be fwends,but prepare to die if they dont want to.Just do the old trick,keep your gun on the other guy and then lean left right with "Q"&"E".If they dont do the same in 5 seconds blow their head off or run away,always ready to shoot

Me and my clan were playin Origins and we decided to go to Salvation city and wipe it.And we did.Videos of us clearing the city and raiding everything are coming soon,for now i just have the video of 2 of us breaching the mansion and killing the last standing NPC in salvation.After that,i elected myself as the mayor of the city XD

In case you've watched any of my videos(youtube.com/icyzinhd) you know i kill everyone that has the gun But since my clan got our own origins server,i became a hero.i guess its because i kill lots of zombies,since i had 5000 humanity,6 murders,3,hero kills and 2 bandit kills and i bloodbagged/morphined once or twice.anyways,my and my clan were about to land in a city to do medical lootrun when we saw flares goin off.we typed in side "Guy in XXX city drop your gun and walk to the beach or you die" and his reply was "oh really?".3 of us parachuted,moved up on him,and shot him down(he had guns and shit,he should have listened to us).He bitched a bit bout "the admin bandit clan" and then he asked if we left his stuff there,i said yes.We went on the hospital roof after the lootrun and waited for our heli to come back to take us out of there.My lookout clanmates were busy tryin to look under one female bandits skirt.so as i go on a roof i see one guy at the recently made grave of the guy we killed,i take 5 random shots at him and i see him going behind cover to bandage.its the same guy,he types "im dropping everything dont shoot" and he walked out unarmed.i asked him to go to his grave and stay there unarmed,i went down,bloodbagged him,check his backpack for ammo and stuff and then said to him to stay ther until we leave.we have recently done a great lootrun so i dropped him a g36 as well,i had 3 in my pack.After we boarded the chopper and left we let him go.He was happy,and we were all alive!I know its just a game,but for a die hard bandit,it felt nice! we play origins,we just finished a lootrun in salvation,we got lots of guns,in the chopper we had like 10 pkp 10 pkm,5 g36 etc,we have a clan war with another clan that has us outnumbered,so we get every gun and ammo in our base to make sure we will be able to shoot 'em back,the fuckers got m60's. we killed that guy after he failed to surrender,we typed to him to come to the beach unarmed,so our chopper gunner could cover him while we loot,but he said no.second time i shot him because he was gonna sneak up on us,he got his stuff without saying anything while he knew we were still there.he didnt inform us until i shot him again.then he dropped his gun,so i gave him blood and a new gun that we could spare.and thats something i do when im not in a hot pvp zone,if i see someone and he drops his gun after i ask him to,i will give him any medical treatment he needs,and maybe a gun or ammo if i can spare some.a guy shot at our chopper later as we were picking up a mate as a fresh spawn,and shot me out of it,i spawned back in the city,spammed my makarov to make him hide and stole his SUV.after he begged me to get it back,i said to him that if he drops all my stuff,and his stuff in the supermarket and he comes unarmed,he can get it back.he did it and he got it back,he crashed it 2 hours later though. we dont shoot for no reason.we're bandits(in the heart,heroes in the skin :P ),not kids,we raid cities and bases for supplies,not for kills.we found a random base with a half broken uaz and a chopper,i repaired the uaz and left him an m9sd and a pkp cause i stole all his food and water,we needed it,i could steal his uaz or his chopper but i didnt cause we didnot need em.

About the Side Chat thing.I play DayZ cause its realistic,but the quality of direct chat sucks.we had zombies screaming everywhere and a chopper flying over the city really low,there was no way the other guy could hear us talk.we were heavily armed,and i've spotted him as soon as me feet touched the ground,i could shoot him straight away but we decided to give him a fair chance,a chance that talking in direct would not give him.we use side only for admin buiseness,like informing about emergency restarts and ban reports,but sometimes its the only choice you got.Without side we would shoot that guy without giving him a chance,we had too good loot to risk it,and we needed meds and food,we couldnt skip the citynow that im done apologising, @Hetstaine i have done nothing like that!I've saved 2 of my mates after our chopper got shot down and i was the one that woke up first,but i murdered more people,my humanity should be low!We had a lockdown of Byelov,we went to get food,and we had another clan attacking us,we locked down the church and killed everything that showed up on the doorway,i died by falling off the firestation roof,but i dont think that dying gives you humanity

Many will say that playing defensive will keep you alive...It won't.You cannot defend yourself from bullets.No matter how much cover you have,not matter if you aggro'd or not,if someone wants to kill you,he's gonna find a way to make his bullets reach you. another tip(not to realistic though) its the mod itself.if you're close to a city and you see zombies check your distance and see if you spawned 'em last,if you kill someone that has a clantag,after being safe check the playerlist quickly,if more guys have the same tag they're probably close,so you can just ambush em when they get their friend's shit.

the only thing i still do,is when i wanna change from my assault rifle to my sniper,and im trying to place my gun in my full bag first,ending up despawning it.still not used to that.but if you got arma 3,you'll hate that the changed the buttons and "G" throws a nade while "I" is for inventory.i think you can change the bindings,but many teamkills have happened by that

it's all about where you are.If you're in a popular area,I dont think that a hatchet should be equiped at all.But if you HAVE to do it,run behind cover,double click hatchet,double click your pack,click on the enfield and exit the pack.if you survive you can pick up your axe later,or take his if he got one

Ok,background story quickly,me and 2 mates used a raft to go to salvation city,on our way there 2 pricks started bragging about killing everyone there etc,and i used their pride to find out that they had a chopper and that they were going back.After we got in the wall we spotted them landing to the compound next to us,so we moved in and proceed on killing em both and taking their shit.Of course they raged shortly after they typed "ok it's cool" XD Note how badass we are,we know that they just killed every AI and got great loot,but our teammate opens fire with his Makarov XD Enjoy

We started as a clan with America'sArmy3 and Battlefield 3,after we got kicked off the clan we were cause the head admin was stupid,so he kicked all the members and we formed our own clan,CODS stands for Call Of Duty Sucks,it started for fun cause we set some matches against the old clan that had new members,and after we won 3/3 ,we decided to keep the name :P And @Darryl Dixon it sounds good,i was trying to make missions but i know nothing bout the editor and i ended deleting everything :P I hope you're gonna play as well !!

thing is that our admin doesnt have acess to panels like in any other server hosting company,he couldnt see their spot,they just gave it away by themselves and then failed to defend their spot :)
