I think they're exporting the skins and the map from Arma2 to Arma3. I've played it, streamed it for 4 hours 2 days ago, it's nice and fun, but buggy and hacker infested

I see more and more people being stupid and shoot the chopper when it's perfectly clear that they are lowering to land. If the chopper just autohovers then they may be stabilizing it to have good shot from the machinguns, but when the chopper is going lower just let it land. Last week I saw a little bird landing, moved up on it, and when the engine as off shot both pilot and passenger with my winchester and got miself a chopper. I was gonna land on NEAF, and a guy started shooting with an AK, if he waited for me to land there was no way I'd survive

If you manage to be away from all the shit and be in a camp that you feel it's safe, then why not control your feelings?

I don't think any of these will come in SA Alpha version but nice suggestions. 1-Zombies need a whole new behaviour system i general. They should aggro on animals, maybe hit each other, and as you said trip OR get distracted by the cow 5m to your left. 2-Keeping the door closed wouldn't work since you're supossed to be hurt and bandage etc, you shouldn't be able to hold the door closed as well. Barricading it with wooden planks etc would be nice 3-Chernarus is a land based of farmers(and military) not parkour and Assassins! 4- Water could be infected and lethal, holding it in your shirt doesnt seem right but using a bucket to get some could work 5-That can easily be abused by campers, they block the ladder and camp on top forever

(I quoted only that to avoid creating a longer-than -needed post) I agree with you, I'd say pretty much the same thing. Now, in my life I get bored alone, I got my buds and my girlfriend, and I always had someone by my side, best friend, girlfriend, my cousin... In an A, I'd probably try to find more people to be with. Create a small safe camp and start a whole new life. I'd like to have someone by my side, looking at my past I'd probably find a guy to trust and befriend and watch out for each other. So far I'm always there for my close friends, I got my ass kicked when I supported my bud against some bullies 4 years ago in high school, I helped him kick some ass when someone was picking on his girlfriend, and I'd do it again, I always support him and he supports me. Now, in an A it'll be a matter of life or death but I want to believe that I'll be there for anyone I'm with. I'm a huge fan of books, all kind of books. Have been reading lots of history books I've noticed that after every war, the country that "rules the world" is the one that still has a healthy "society system". In my opinion the only way to avoid complete chaos in an A is to create a community. Get everyone that manages to find you, make him feel like home. Everyone can have a "job", hunter, fisherman, farmer, lawkeeper, guard, doctor, you name it. What is the most important part of a community? Human interaction. Relationships should be a priority. Not just to make sure that humans will not stop existing, but making sure that people are still mentaly healthy enough to adapt a relationship. Another reason is that by having families, you basicaly have groups of people, it's easier to organize them if they're in groups with people they like/love.

I dunno what server you play on but everytime I tried to rob someone he just turned around to shoot me. Killing is a matter of position. If you are North then everyone is a threat. If you're south then you can take the chances to be friendly or just rob. Bandits are the reason DayZ is fun, the fact that you can get shot any second makes it intense. I am a bandit, I kill for the loot and for my own safety. Sure I'll not kill an unarmed guy, or a person 1000m away running away from me minding his own buissiness, but I will kill a guy in Stary or NWAF just cause he is in my dangerzone and he WILL shoot me as soon as he spots me. A bandit is a person that robs/raids/kills for his own safety or the loot he wants, and he survives. A fagit(fag-bandit?) is a 10 y.o. kid coming over from COD shooting unarmed guys in Elektro, I think that's the kind of "bandits" you're angry with.

I like TWD, but I thought of that by rewatching Zombieland for the 10000th time. Columbus is eager to have a relationship/friends/family and Tallahasse is trying to avoid it

I'd recommend this video/series on vanilla DayZ. Edited to be short enough to avoid long boring walking parts and rants, and they're full with action and/or stupidity. Oh, and the guy that uploaded them is really hot

I play,livestream and record at the same time Battlefield 3 maxed out on Ultra with 90+ frames. I play DayZ and I'm lucky if my frames are more than 40 in Cherno. Arma will eat your frames, just look up guides to set the settings to get the max frames, but NEVER download any frame-fixing software, IT'S A TRAP

^^^^ Due to my love for Arma's armory I can crash land a chopper from 400m high, and my clans designated pilot LOVES to fly, he even has a joystick and shit and he's kinda of a pro. Most players eject after the rotor/engine is out, so shooting the rotor/s is your best option to take down a chopper

If that's a reply for my post, my post is about every chopper in the game, not just the Mi-17. Im pretty sure its about his post though since he mentions Attack choppers and Mi-17, so dear god dont mind me :P

Shoot the Main Rotor to get it FUBAR Shoot the Back Rotor to make it land/crash Wait for it to autohover and get a sweet shot on the pilot Don't be a foo' and stay hidden and under cover if you see/hear a chopper flying just in case it's gonna land Aim at the gunner/pilot seat instead of spamming in the general area of the chopper like a tit Does that ^^^^ answer your question?

Playing on a server that has a stupid base with a mansion next to NWAF, I got sniped by 3 different guys on it. Some others confirmed that the guys have been there for more than 6 hours, so I spawned Kamenka and rushed North. Found a winchester, so I just rushed 'em. As I spawned after I died, the last guy died, and told me in the chat that I killed him as well, he bled out
