Ok, I play DayZ for more than a year now, since it was released to public. There are many things I love and hate. I've never bitched or raged out loud. It's time to do it. I'd love to see replies on the stuff I'm about to say, if you agree/disagree and why. I named this "butthurt" because I'll bitch about everything that makes me rage in game. No1: South Campers. Yes if I find a DMR I'll be happy and I'll snipe the brains out of the first guy that shows up in my scope, but I'll not head south to snipe. I mean, all these retards camping with a M24/DMR on Elektro snipe hill are getting more and more annnoying. And 90% of them are noobs. 2 days ago I spawned fresh in a server and there was a huge fight in elektro. I ran UNARMED up the hill, ran behind a DMR guy, took his m4 out of his bag, shot his face, took his stuff and then shot his friend that was 4m away from me, shooting in the city, not giving a fuck bout the guy with the m4 that just killed someone next to him. BOOP another kill and more gear for me to despawn before I head north. No2: The "friendlies". You run in a hospital with a Makarov. 2 guys with AKMs run to you screaming friendly. You say me too, and aim to the ground to not make them feel threatened. They shoot you, miss, you headshot them and kill them. Then they type in side "you fag you said ur friendly". I mean, COME ON! No3: The admin-lovers. An admin logs in. A regular player starts typing " Hey [admins name], buddy, whatsup? :))))" and crap like that. 5 minutes later "Hey, I died to a stupid bandit earlier, can you spawn me my DMR and Coyote and M9SD again?"."Oh, and ban [bandits name]. he's hacking". "Come on [admins name], we're friends, you can spawn me stuff cause i got killed!!!" .... No4: Abusive admins. <---It pretty much sums up everything. Admins that abuse their powers to gear up, have a vehicle, and find where everyone is(maybe tp as well) to get some kills. Admin teleported to me and spawned himself an MK48 because I didnt pick him up with my dirtbike. I shot him and he alt f4d. He tp his character away, bandaged, had a friend bloodbag him etc and teleported back to me, using admin map to find my spot in a bush and shoot me.... No5: Retards on side chat. You play and suddenly a blue name pops up and you hear a 10 y.o. "boy" saying " Im a fwendly bambi, anyone want to team up?" A bandit says yes, gets his location and kills him. Next thing, the kid is yelling "OH MY GOD, YOU ARE A JERK, OH MY GOD YOU CHEATER" Last but not least, the spawnkillers. You spawn in Olsha, before you can hear the sound of the letters indicating your position, CZ fires, and you spawn dead

Make sure it's set as the default mic and default communications mic. Other than that do a google search, I remember it being an issue at some point and there were some fixes

Just spot the goddamn guy. For killcams go to CoD, it's stupid to zoom in on the guy, unless you can never play on that server again or they add it on a new difficulty mode, "Super Easy Baby Mode". Otherwise, you can just spawn and mark him on the map, or go to his area and kill him, or if you're with a group you just say to them exactly where he is right after he killed you.

Me and my clan have been invited to a server by the clan that was hosting it. I logged it to check it and the admins came to me with an Apache, and spawned me a coyote pack, an as50 and an m4a cco sd, and they left. Disconnected and never played on there again. Other guys though would like that, it's easy loot. That's why many servers with abusive admins have 50/50 players, cause many kids like that free as50, they can just camp south and get the gear back when they die. We got 4 admins on our server, all 4 got acess to DaRT but only the owner has acess to the main panel, just cause he has the password, the only time we used it was to TP players to the event area, just to not have them run 10 klicks and get bored, and when our old server was shuting off, we just spawned a chopper for each player and had a nice fight before the server went down forever. And an admin alt-f4s when he's a noob. He abused his powers many times and still failed. I headshoted him with an M4 acog and he altf4d as soon as the bullet hit.

Get a friend to get his gun through the door, shoot you in the chest so you pass out, he drags you outside, bandage bloodbag etc.

I recently left the RP community cause of the fagboys,eehm, fanboys of Psi that joined and fucked it up. If you come across some of the old members you'll have a good time, otherwise it sucks. As I said on my "goodbye" post there, RP stands for RePort and not roleplay, everyone is trying to get KOS rights or Report rights instead of actually RPing and are the only good moments I had on the RP servers.I recommend giving it a try, but you'll get disapointed really quick.Plus, dont expect RP from the DayZ community. You'll find 10 guys that will actually RP and then 20 kids will join and fuck everything. If you actually create a server etc though send me a PM to check it since Im trying to find an RP community that actually works.

Why did you autohover? You just signed your death by that! plus, dont eject, try to crash-land it, you got nothing to lose since you're already trapped there.and the guy that shot you down was aiming for you and not the gunner that was the main threat, it was pretty clear they were working together.

As I said this thread is for complaining, it's getting boring to not be afraid for my IG life, I'll either get ambushed and kill the guys, or I'll attack someone that will NOT put on a good fight. I've been changins lots of servers, whitelisted, public, full, empty, its the same everywhere. Dudes running around with a horde on their ass, try to shoot you, miss , pass out and get eaten. Lately I've been saving people from the zombies because killing them is too easy and too boring.

I was gonna post the video but you were faster! :) I love these ignorant dudes, he either never admined a server and tries to act "cool", or he's so stupid that he doesn't know what he can do on his server

I don't know wich server hosting company you used, but I've been a co-admin in 5 dayz servers. Except from the Origins one , the only thing you have to do to spawn stuff and TP is go to the lobby, change your gear and position and log back in. Haven't done it , myself but the headadmin could do it. And it's easy as hell to do, we done that for 20+ people on some events like capture the hill etc, when someone dies we just TP him close so he wont have to run for hours. And you can just have the "admin map" open in another window/monitor and follow it as it autorefreshes every XXX seconds. So you're either one of these abusive admins trying to look innocent or you have to learn all the features of your dayz server CP

The other games I play online are mainly Counter Strike and Battlefield, so I'm lucky enough to come across only abusive admins, stacking their team with good players and leaving the noobs to the enemy team. "False identity" is not my problem, if I dont have the bandit skin I lie as well, acting friendly. I cant stand it though when they fail to betray-kill me and I kill them and they start raging about me not being friendly. Luckily for me I hate League so i dont have any problems ;) And I dont have an Xbox, PS fan since 1995, but annoying kids exist in CS as well!

The only advice I can give you, is DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY "FPS/LAG FIXING" "GAME BOOSTING" SOFTWARE. They'll steal your key and get you banned. Other than that search the forums and youtube, there are some usefull setting changes you can do to increase your fps/decrease the lag. I may post a link to one if my internet stops crashing

Yeah, make titties dangerous!!!! If it's easy to remodel some zombies without bugging the mod, they should make the harder ones to have some visibe bullet holes, to indicate that others put some bullets in them but didn't kill them.

I didnt say you said jump from roof to roof. Your ideas are good but its clear you didnt think them through. Ziplining would be crazy for 2 reasons. as someone else said you put your self in too much danger, getting shot, aggroing hell lot of zombies, rope gets destroyed while you're on it.. there are too many dangers that must come with that. second, we dont have roofs on chernarus, only atc towers,firestations and hospitals, the all have at least 2 ladders/exits so you can easily escape through one of them if you really need to. About blocking ladders, wire fence kit or tank traps are already a pain in the ass when it comes to blocking, a camper or a stupid troll will easily find a way to block it and keep it that way for at least as long as he is there. About rainwater. You don't know what started the infection. It could be Crazy cows it could be Justin Bieber's songs, it could be the water. IRL you have to be REALLY desperate or crazy to drink it like that. IG if you just fill up a water bottle and drink you most probably get infected, you have to boil the water first to make sure it'll not fuck you up. You should be able to use the water rain though, as I said getting it in buckets and then boiling it and filling up 3-4 water bottles would be usefulll

I'll be THAT guy but just learn to play the game. If the chopper shoots at you fucking hide, dont run around like a headless chicken. Read all the posts here, almost everybody suggests something that will help you not die if a chopper flies close to you

Now, I want to keep this on topic, and try to make it as serious and realistic as possible. My question is, what would YOU do in a zombie apocalypse with your "love life"? Let's say that a zombie apocalypse starts IRL. Your family and closest friends are dead, and you're all alone. You are running scared around the streets, away from all the madness and you find shelter in a small building. In there you find 4-5 other survivors, scared as well. You talk to each other, decide to team up and escape the city. You set camp in the woods and stay there for a long time. You become close friends with everyone, you trust and protect each other. Now, there is a goodlooking boy/girl ( accoring to your taste) that seems to be interested in you. Would you start a relationship? I mean, would you be attached to someone in the middle of this shitstorm? Forget the factor sex, I'm talking about feelings. Would you prefer to be with a person even if he/she may die the next day or you prefer to be alone so you'll not be too attached to someone?

My favorite zombie movie! Shaun of the Dead and Resident Evil movies are in 2nd and 3d place on my top 3 :P

What is your favorite QUIET weapon for zombie killing that doesn't use bullets?

Is that a hint that we will be able to craft e new weapon? Put a flare in a can, light it up, throw it, zombies get attracted to it and then BLAWM it explodes!!!
