I was playing for many hours,and i had this character for a long time,i was at Day 8.I'm part of a group but i was far away from them,so i was making my way to them and our base by looting everything on my way!I found a tent and i was gonna use it to have my own storage in our base.But i countered a guy that opened fire so i spent all of my akm rounds on him and the zombies attacking me.My akm was empty and i had a makarov as a secondary.I was around Mogilevka when i heard gunshots.First an Enfield and then an AK.both sounds cam from the same place so i guessed there were 2 friends shooting zombies.i was right.as i was only with my makarov,i had to avoid them but one spotted me and opened fire at me.i run away shooting some random bullets behind me and i went safely in a forest!i guessed the guys shot me cause i had an AKM,and i thought i should get rid of it since it's empty and there are a lot of barns around me.But why lose it?I run around a bit,and finaly set my tent!I put it my akm and some random supplies i had,i put my makarov in my backpack and waited for a bit.i heard the other guys coming,so i decided to risk it,i ran out unarmed shouting friendly don't shoot i'm unarmed,and that there is a guy with an akm around!they fell for it..at first i thought they found out i was lieing and i was waiting to get shot,but they didn't shoot me,they told me to stick with them while they kill the akm guy.I was behind them,i took my makarov,emptied it on one's head,and i reloaded and killed the other too.i was gonna take the lee enfield and leave,but i remember my tent,so i took my AKM and put the AK inside,one of them had AKM mags.so i survived and now i have a tent set up :P That's my story,how my tent saved my life!

With my luck,i believe that if i were you,he would kill me right after i bandage him :P

my first murder was a friendly killing :P I was playing Dayz for the second time and i was going to NW airfield with 3 friends.I was looting a warehouse when a guy with a shotgun jumps in front of me and aims me with his weapon.i had a revolver and i aimed his head.i told him to speak if he wants to live,he didnt reply.i asked my guys if they were trying to scare me and i told them i was gonna shoot..and i did,the guy kept his weapon pointing on me so i just took his head off!Turned out he was a friend,playing a prank on me :P

well that used to be me :P when i first started i was really friendly,i was trying to help others.till one day i joined a group trying to loot a hospital,and we had to fight against 2 snipers on the roof,i had no weapon,but i was scouting cause snipers didn't spotted me.The group i was in won the fight,and then they just shot me just cause they did't know me well...I risked my life to help them,i even bandaged one of their guys while i was getting shot at,and they still killed me,even if i was still unarmed!After that i trust none,unless the guys in my clan and the guys we trust and talk on teamspeak.Everyone else is a threat,i'm not gonna kill on sight,but i'll always keep my crossair on his head just to be ready! So in order to not get killed on sight,don't let them even have the chance to see you!

I'm not much of a pvp-er myself,i kill only if i'm in danger,that's why i started walking away from the two guys and didn't sneak on them and kill them while they were having fun with zombies.But i'm lucky enough and my opponents in the best fights i had,didn't alt-f4,they let me get my prize for being better!we enjoyed good firefights and then i enjoyed my prize for winning!that's why i don't alt-f4 while i die or i'm in danger,even if it's by zombies and not players.cause it takes the fun out of it and makes it unrealistic :P plus if you kill someone his loot is your prize for being better.By alt-f4ing you just fuck up the whole fight :P

no alt-f4 for me bro :) i keep playing even if i have 10000 zombies behind me,disconnecting takes the fun out of the game.

i kill everyone with a gun that is a threat to me.They shot at me first,if i had ammo for my akm or a better secondary i would just fire back and fight!And since they shot at me,i couldn't trust them,they shot at a stranger walking away from them with his back turned to them!they were stupid enough to trust a random guy while they know an armed guy is around.we could be 2 guys and one of us could be the bait.I believe that since you fired at someone or someone fired at you,you will not be safe until you clear the area.i have encountered armed stranger in a firestation,we both had weapons,but we just said "just passing by" and we let each other live.if someone shoots you he can never be trusted

it was quick thinking,my first plan was to just drop my guns and wait for them to come closer and see i'm unarmed and leave me alone :P But when i was in my inventory i saw the tent,so i put stuff in it and made room in my backpack for my makarov! i never believed that it would actually work

That's a noob question since it's my first time that i found a car that works,i don't know how the vehicle system works :P So i found a car,perfect condition,low on fuels.I saved it in some bushes but i got attacked while i was refilling a jerry can.If i die,is the car going to despawn?My question may sound really stupid but i want to know so i can ask help from my team,or just respawn and head back to my car.

i can use the hatchet but it's taking more time between hits.i spame right click when i have zombies on me,and now it takes longer to swing it.i dont know if im lagging or they actually changed it

i'm in a group of nearly 10 people..we used to run all together when we first started,but now we are splitting,it came naturaly.2 guys run together all the time,they communicate really good,me and 2 more guys usualy run together,and the rest play pretty much on their own,they join us if we are close and stuff,and we help with gear and stuff.i think that a group of 5 is good as long as you can communicate.Me and 2 of my mates took down a group of 5 best-geared guys,they could be hackers,but they had the best loot,all of them snipers,tons of ammo and stuff.they had better gear and they were more but we communicated better,one flanked them,the second just run straight to them surprising them and i stayed back covering my guys and supresing the enemies,so my mates can go closer..you may run with 2 or 10 guys,if you have good communications you will play good!just make clear to everyone that they play as a group and they have to support the group,and bitching doens't help!

it's a Yay from me.I used to hate that weapon,but it's the first primary i find every time i respawn,with tons of ammo,so i got used to it and now i love it.Well you can alert the whole map if you shoot,but it's a real badass

as i said in another post,warz is gonna be a rip off.it's gonna attract only failed DayZ players,the guys that dc right after you shoot them cause they dont want to die,the guys that just don't understand that running around with a sniper rifle doesn't make them bulletproof :P many will check it just to see what it is,but few will stay,real dayz fans and gamers will just cry over their wasted money,while dayz noobs will finaly leave us alone

As i've seen in some Arma II videos on youtube,in the main game there is an animation than whe you press a button your character raises his hands over his head,like surrendering.If people learn how to use it in DayZ it will really help preveting unesesary player killing.That was my first idea.Then,i just thought it more and more,and i thought something that maaaaay be really cool!Handcuffs!Being able to arrest people and have your own fucking slaves!How it works?Let me explain!Note that i have zero knowledge of game programing so i don't know how easy or hard it is to be added in the game,it could be impossible. -First,by using the surrendering animation,your character will drop his main weapon,making the surrender animation imposible to use just to fool your enemy -Now,after you drop your gun,the guy that made you surrender is more powerfull cause he will notice the animation of your character picking up his primary or changing to his secondary,so he will have time to shoot you or run away.That means that you have to be really desperate or scared to surrender. -Since you dropped your gun and surrender,the other guy can move closer to you.This needs a whole new command,something like "Arest",and when someone scrolls and clicks Arest,your hands will be handcuffed behind your back,you will not be able to pick up stuff or even acces your inventory.That command could easily be abused to sneak and troll guys,so it should be able to use only if the other guy has NOT a weapon equiped. -The arrested guys have 2 options,follow their captor and obey him,or run away.If they obey,the captor can feed them and give them water and stuff,and he can loot them like they were dead.Also,he can free them anytime.If the arrested person runs away and manages to evade his captor,he will still be handcuffed.The only way to lose the handcuffs is to have them removed by another person,or use a hatchet or something similar. That's my idea so far. I have some things to add that i think are important Note that arrested guy can be used as walking backpacks,some captors can abuse them and use them just to carry their stuff.So,in order to prevent that from happening,the arrested guy should be able to access his captor's gear only when his captor is browing his.and the arrested guy should be able to see a new item,something like keys,that he can take and use whenever he wants to free his hands. I believe that by being able to handcuff someone and have him as a hostage campers will be less,and pvp will be back to normal cause people will have more reasons to communicate before shooting!If my idea makes it in the game imagine how far it can expand!We're gonna have head hunters,people will start trading slaves and stuff...something like the Fallout games :P Plus,the whole slaves thing is gonna add a new way of playing the game,it will make players really playing carefully and not just running around shooting everyone they see.Cause if they pass out someone can just run and capture them..So far we have only bandits and survivors..with slaves we will have slavers,slaves,and guys that try to free the slaves..Cause if someone captures 3-4 people,they can talk and plan how to take him down and escape.. So far some will think that it's really stupid cause people will focus to just capture others.That's where zombies come!captured guys will alert zombies too!So if you capture someone you will have to be really careful cause he can make you have a really bad time by alerting 50 zombies and then run to you,making you draw some agro too..that will prevet people from just run around capturing everyone,and it will promote vehicles in the game.Cause it's easier to carry a slave with you in a car than just walking.But everyone wants a car so you will have to fight in order to keep it! My idea has almost as many advantages as disadvantages,i really thought about it and i think that there is no way someone is gonna abuse his power to capture others,cause it will not work for him for sure,it could turn against him. Feel free to add your own ideas and comment saying what you think bout my idea,if it's good or not! My post is not finished,i'm gonna edit it when i think something better!!

i've seen a group of 5 snipers dressed with soldier clothes,they attacked my group,we killed them and checked their stuff.they all had the same stuff,svd's with the same amount of ammo,sd secondaries and the exact amount of supplies,so we guessed they were hackers.we tooked the clothing though,it was awesome :P i think it's not hacked cause a friend of mine found one randomly spawning in a heli crash

i always try to have an extra secontary in my backpack with some ammo..now,that's a good idea,giving weapons to fresh spawns!the only disadvantage of that is that expirienced players that find the loot will be able to kill newbies almost since right after they spawn

i think your post is pointless.cause you just said what's going on now,if someone wants to "buy something" he just posts here and sets up when and where he is gonna take his item,and about what he will give in exchange and stuff.noone said that i'm gonna give you a gps for 10 cans of coke and an AKM for 20.there is no global currency,everyone asks for payment what he wants!so i think your post is pretty pointless

dont want to ruin your hapiness,but what's the point of having so many stuff for yourself?you should find some friends to play with and expand the camp!

i just spawned after a death,and a friend of mine,a clanmate came to pick me up from elektro,he had nice gear so he could protect me.as usual i found a hatchet,i really love it,i can kill zombies with it better than i can with a weapon :P anyways,i accidentaly aggroed a huge group of zombies on my way to my guy,he was near me and i just run to him.when i joined him we ran together to go in a warehouse and kill the zombies while they're slower,but on our way 3 fresh spawners joined us!We stopped at some point and me and my bud killed the zombies.2 of the other guys stayed with us,the 3d ran away.then,we got shot at by sniper,none of us got hit but the bullet landed nearby.one of the fresh spawns ran away scared,and the other one just stayed with us,he was silent,no communication,he was just listening my orders when i was saying stop,hide run etc.we evaded the sniper and we looted a place,the fresh guy found a gun and some mags.he typed thank you,and just left.i was sure he was gonna shoot us,or follow us and kill us when we have good loot,but he just left :P it feels good sometimes to help others!

So,i'm gonna be straight with you,even if you're a bandit just reading survivors' posts to find victims :P I'm in a clan,in a group of 6-7 guys,i was afk for a while and now i'm far away from them.They're doing ok,so i decided to have some "me time" in dayz,try to survive by my own and stuff.So i spawn after i die,and i'm going straight to electro.For some reason i found a car next to the coast,it was in good condition but low in fuel.I dont know if someone left it there and left to find fuel or someone parked and was nearby,but i just took it :P.I stayed on the road since i just spawned,and i had some fun,when the fuel was almost done i hide the car in some bushes.I was so lucky and i found a beartrap,my first in the game,so i placed it next to the car.blah blah i left to find a jerry can.Some minutes later i found a warehouse,a jerry can inside,a lot of zombies around,i crawled and avoided them,took the jerry can but i saw a survivor running to my spot,i was unarmed so i just run out shouting friendly.he was a fresh spawn too so we just ran together away from the zombies..blah blah,we got lost in the woods,we were running for A LOOOONG time and we found ourselfs at zelenogorsk :P i looted the store while he looted the barn,i found 3 lee enfields and secondaries,i took them and while i was going to give him a secondary he shot me with a bow -.- i killed him with the enfield,bandaged and headed to the gas station.there,i found out i couldnt refill the jerry can :@ i was at 5000 blood,zombies attacked,i passed out and disconnected out of rage :P i dont give a fuck bout my equipment,so if you decide to kill me,go ahead,i'm already at 1000 blood xD I just posted here to ask for help.I need blood and morphine.I'd like to refil the jerry can and go to the car,so if any of you decides to help me,we can share a car.I dont have something important or rare,just a makarov & a revolver,both with 7-8 mags.i can also give to you my enfield,i can loot the town anytime.So let's make it clear.I ask for help,i need someone to save me,give me blood and morphine,and then head to the car.also,we can do it in another way,just come to my place,let me die,take my stuff and then meet me at the coast where i respawn,give me a gun,i have 2 secondaries as i mentioned,and head with me to the car.you can even keep it,but only if you give me a ride north :P my plan was to drive it north,as far as it could go and then just leave it and walk,but it was too low on fuel and i just couldn't leave it without trying :P my post is already too long so if you're interested post here or pm me.i dont care if you are playing the game for months or you just got it,i just need help and someone to play with afterwards!i know that you dont trust me and may think it's a trap,so pm me to discuss it more and make a deal :P or post here and i'll pm you Edit:I know you can just let me die and take my stuff and leave,but if you help me the price is a fuly functional car without fuel :P
