let me say one thing, theres lots of culture each with its POV, rituals and moral. Are you trying to imply that yours is the only right one? Because it isnt, survival is the thing that drives communities together, other things too some times. Think that moral changes with time and places theres lots of ways to perceive a situation so this is the reason for punishing someone for killing other person.Karma and Humanity is wrong, because the only thing that is bad is killing someone from your group, like if i killed someon of my clan i would be punished in a way unique to my clan and that would be the only real way, let the players punish and judge the killers, just like it is, the natural way. -
each animal behave in very different ways, aggresive to passive to just being scared as shit and running from any sound. Boars walk cycle should be also redone, and let me say, if they can have a life cycle similar to the zombies they should eat and depending on how well they are doing it will respond into how much meat they have. But this would be too hard to implement, so they eat sometimes. What about territorial animals? I know most of them are not in cherno, maybe wolves are. wild dogs and cats should be added, they are animals and would addapt to the times, What about the feature of making animals at ease with humans, just like they pretend to do with dogs in the "next" update.

this argument is not productive is just drama and counterprodutive, fuenke, in every forum that is one scheme of win for example theres mikhail, ruarz and the original make dayz harder thread, these consist of focus on topics, tackling key elements or problems we see, no generalization. Going in depth to call some possible solutions for each of them, and some people have tried to go very in depth in almost all elements, so try to be original. -
DayZ standalone suggestion: Seasonal loot balancing. "Hunger" season, "Cease fire" season, "Zombie infestation" season etc.

Also, stormy season, so lots or rains and rivers can get bigger, not only occasional floods and lakes get bigger or formed in the countryside, with added humidity weapons decay a little easier, rust and stuff. It could be called monsoons. fall season, leaves "fall"lol. Trees become weaker but are more easy to take down and gather wood but this wood is not as strong as normal. Also if seasons can sometimes start together this with rainy could mean that terrain in mountains could start slide, you know when ... erosion thingy. So prolly making caves in weak terrain would not be a good thing or not only it could fall over the player or the terrain could close the entrance. evac season, big sunk boats apper on the cost, they keep degrading and their metal can be scrapped, not only other crashed stuff respawn but they are all without military loot, beacuse they would be focused in base construction. Also in this season, some raw materials could randomly spawn more. what about a season with air drops, not the cheat that is the hacked stuff. But the ones like in jericho, which is food with conservants, seeds for crops, clothes, generators and other helping stuff. With this bases do not become just become an end game, where it would become two different gameplays for different people, but a gameplay that intertwines between themselves and makes both important not just random looting in places and them going to snipe players, that could be continued but your survival ratio would go down a lot. Also, how many days will a season last, and is it going to be forced on all hive servers. Like in a certain difficulty all servers worldwide go to dry season so you cant just hop servers and escape them? I hope you cant escape like you proposed with night. Please, fix night. Also, in cold season night is longer than normal. And in hot day is longer. this is so hard.... waht about cargo days, what i mean by that is that in one day a huge cargo ship or tanker can crash into the mainland. You know those huge ships with lots of cargo or maybe lot with mineral resources and oil, if oil spilled fish could be toxic for a while. Its some ideas to seasons and some random events, you will judge which one fits dayz better.. lol. love your ideas, finally someone takes these ideas and makes an easy to understand thread. -

only if nights are not as dark, all servers here in brazil follow strict brazilian time, so at night all are dark and nighty stuff, but i dont want to play a blind man all the time, so i would set my gmt to europe, even if i had to play with a 170 ping(i am accostumed to), so this could have drawbacks. I will only accept this if the night is fixed, its IMO too dark, and we need the possibilty for more light sources -
i saw the video, in the future the development of dayz will be give more to the community and i am sorry to say that it already is, lots of maps, each with differente ways, each map made by a team and they do(i think) contribute and help each other. The biggest competitor to dayz SA is the dayz mods made by the community and everyone who doesnt delve deep into it is an ignorant

no pvp gear, not only high level gear will be dumbed down and more rare, we should not focus on pvp. theres enough killing already, giving us tools to fight pvp itself is the best way -
ok, i get it. We are imune, but what the ones who werent and tried to survive, those could be, they could be few and scarce but they would have primary stuff, like a bag and some food, maybe medical stuff. Unless rocket say that the not imunnes didnt have a chance to survive, in this case the virus would be airborne and being near a zombies would get you(non immune survivor) zombified instantly

already discussed, a lot, and no, because you already lose your gear once you die, not only would servers like that be ultra rare almost no one would join, nice idea to motivate players teaming up, you are motivating more VPN use to fake address. People would kill at KOS without a doubt, because of trolling and super fear of losing everything. You would get more paranoid than from normal servers that you just respawn. And if you suck and have no luck finding people to join up you would never come back to servers like that. punishing people who die is not the die, we already do this and it works so stop crying.

already discussed to death, loot will be made more scarce specially high end gear and pvp focused gear, this will be done to encourage teamwork. -
press I, they will log into your server like normal people, and boom they will join your server, done, you are with your friends, in the same country, to me that is almost the same thing, i know its tiring to walk a lot, but its the way it is in these big cities with overcrowded and unfunded public transports

use search function, all already discussed also, the engine will be from take on helicopters, and there will be stamina and weight, prolly dunno, also more weapons, but if you want more guns you can play the other maps untill SA release, most of them are pvp focused -

i think it has more to do with gear, inventory and identification, although some clothes are design for some stuff, a jump suit for hard work, a camo for military stuff, and it goes, and by putting a weight into the clothes, like 0.1 for a shirt, or 0.3 for an empty bag( you carry the bag, but it doesnt stop it from being something you wear), so if you get your clothing for looting with lots of pockets, maybe players would identitfy you as a more friendly player, but also an easy target. The best thing about clothing is that people will still judge you who you are depending on what you are wearing, even if the world has gone to shit. I agree with you, but no stats, but clothing must help you in a way that it will tell what type of player you are, a looter, a medic, a builder, a fixer, a hunter. Varied clothing that helps you in inventory for your daily needs and ambitions -

And lets also say their brains, specially the cerebellum that is for coordination and balance, decay with time due to stuff rocket will make up, but the cerebellum slower. Judgement and situation assesment zombies dont have. First we drink, carbonic bonds are broken in our stomach, blah blah chemistry that i dont really understand, enzhymes and stuff carried through the blood, then back to the brain. So, yes it is in the blood but if you get a transplant from the drunk person to become one the dose ofblood must be big, and the druggy per blood ratio must also be big. Another thing, how would a zombie digestive system work, because if it did and he drank the blood of a person there could be a possibility that the enzhyme or whatever you call in the blood can have its stuff broken into harmless stuff, or not... Lots of problems sir, my answer would be no. Why? Only because of gameplay factors, like movies we have the freedom to bend the theories to create an unique, charming and very interesting experience, if it feels authentic is one problem that can be circumnavigated, but if its fun is something we can circumnavigate.

just an armband could be ok. nothing more, authenticity is the key, unless they have one of those high tech gadgets that the us is cooking up to prevent friendly fire but those wont be implemented also, visual cues like flag manufacturing could be interesting, a tag created to paint in walls too could be ok. -

i can imagine cherno and elecktro, bullet holes everywhere, blood on every wall, piles of gore and bodies, zombies foraging food in the piles, hordes coming from outside town to eat the dead. A pure graveyard, only the wicked and insane would dare go there, shooting an enfield will become as dangerous as jumping off a hospital. You sir are a win! Imagine prospecting for salt beneath cherno when suddenly you open a hole, its a basement, but where which town? You look back and see no end to your tunnel, almost nothing of good found, you ask yourself how much time you have spent. Entering the building you look through the window and see the madness of cherno. Silently you go back to your cave and place a dinamite charge in the entrance, you would rather off try your luck in the wilds and the huge caves than face Cherno -
