cherno plus is the map redone, if you have any scenario to play out in dayz do like other mod teams, learn how to make and do it yourself, any suggestions related to the map has been fleshed out, and i think some of the houses will have attic or basements. Placeable objects always go to the terrain level, despite being put above it, this is done to avoid flying tents. Use search function please also. Maybe using a basement to create a cave could be a little hard to implement but that could be nice

ok, i am going to agree with you, there needs to be something in there, they could add something in there, but we are just circumnavigating the bigger problem, once we learn all the good loot spots we go to either elektro or cherno, and after that its stary , then the Airport, after that you can go east to berezin and krasnostav. The problem is that all the paths the players take in gear aquiring is too obvious, we know already all of the sniping spots in all places, when spawned in kamenka or away from loot piles we find a high place, break our legs and respawn. Balancing the cities importances should be one of the priorities, but with cherno plus it has become a priority that is becoming almost complete, so when you spawn in nowhere's'ville you will be able to not need to go into cherno or elektro, unless you want to KOS, which most people will but without that much importance to elektro or cherno as it used not only it will make those cities safer but also solve OPs problem. confusing but i think it tackles the problem -
to me the worst thing is that no matter where you go, there will be loot, unless it has been looted already, the loot spawn mechanic should be a more evil to the players

melee slots and secondary firearms, so if you have clothing with holsters and pockets or anything that can hold your weapons you should be able to hold whatever guns you want, a belt holding a pistol a fencing sword and maybe a small double barrel shotgun. Or a golf bag and you have with it two more snipers and maybe you can let your m4 loose with a rope you tied from it to you, maybe but it would keep moving and bumping to you all the time you move. -

New Map Challenge For Real DayZ Players

weather and seasonal system will be added, probably, the world itself will have a more importante role in SA, but if you want you can get the mod tools for arma and make your own iceland map for dayz. Just search it and learn it, its nice to make mods, try it. -

you should know that the theres lots of people who have proble with hearing and seeing colours, so eliminating the hud is the worst idea i have ever read. Not only some people have very bad graphic and/or sound card, but some dont even have mics or even a way to use sound. Rocket is going to implement a life and decay system to the zombies. Use search, its your friend. And try to follow what rocket says, he has said almost everything and he doesnt support zombie arcadie classes -
first was already discussed, the second would prolly need more than one person, prolly the more persons pushing the faster, and when going uphill you go slower. The third idea is good, despite the door wont stop bullets they will prolly just go through it

the survivors are immune to the zombie virus, not only that, no classes for the zombies, they drop loot depending on their skin already. And the description of your camp is like it was the ultimate base with everything, but if they had so much why would they be overrun. Remeber that rocket wants this game and world to be the most player driven possible, so the more the world changes beacuse of player actions the better. Also in SA it will become possible to find abandoned bases constructed by players themselves. I myself will make lots of them. -

Just that, i know its not that common to find blacksmithing tools anymore, most are industries that make in large quantity the knives and all that uses some type of blade. But i know that this is not supposed to be a big thing, just a small thing if you want to do it. All players who want to go in a more melee style in the future would be glad to have an option like this. It could be a special way to craft melee weapons that could be more durable that hand crafted melee but less than the industry quality hunting knives, and more damage than blunt weapons but a little less than sharp blades. Firearms should be the biggest part of the game, but as we all know some people have been wanting melee weapons to be more important, not as important as the dinner bell is to bambies, but perhaps as a winchester used to be. Now the more important thing could be arranging the items to forge something, that i have no clue. But thanks to wikipedia that might not be so hard to do: "While developed nations saw a decline and re-awakening of interest in blacksmithing, in many developing nations blacksmiths continued doing what blacksmiths have been doing for 3500 years: making and repairing iron and steel tools and hardware for people in their local area."

hahaha lol, that prolly wont stop bullets. But i dont mean transforming this game into skyrim, but just adding the possibily of making machetes, little stabby pointy things, these big swords could be made but they are not the better aproach to the zombie apocalypse, remember that melee mas not be the focus of the game, but the fiearms must

you sir are win, as i can see the hardest part would be hull damage in sinking, not only that simulating the flooding in each compartment or whatever. This could be more interesting if in the distance there was(were?) some islands. It depends more on the power that they could tell, like vehicles do. One question before i go, what if boats let us fish? that could be nice. Oh yeah, the only bad thing is that the engine would have a bad time letting you walk inside a ship, you know from that fishing boat that the only way is to be "riding" it or in the passenger seat. And in arma campaign, you walk in an static object not a real vehicle that you could drive. So, what do we do to let us walk inside the ship but also let us drive it? Sorry if it makes no sense, gotta go and english not my lang. Love ur idea!!!

Ok, lets go imagine how its supposed to work, blood coagulates outside our body, so prolly you would need an anti coagulant or something, lets also imagine we all have the same blood type. Ok, imagine that happening to you, but you dont want to be tied, so you could altf4 and go back to other server, you would spawn tied up, and unless you are very skilled you are going to have a hard time freeing up yourself and in the proccess you will problably starve or dehydrate to death, so lets say you want to continue playing, forced in this condition of spectator, a humiliating scene without knowing what can happen to you or if he will set you free. This is not like being sniped, this is actually forcing someone to do one thing, that is when a game becomes a burden. So, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! never to your idea. Nothing against you dude -

most already discussed, this white image is a sore to some eyes when the background is total black. The temperature is only for experts, and you would have a hard time learning it, most of the bodies would be cold or the body could be a trap itself. Also are you going to check every zombie body to find keys into a place you can just break into. Its not like his house was a fortress or even a bunker and why should i care where the zombie lived in his life before, its not like it was already looted or broke into, and no "quests", and more one thing, how would you find out where he lived, why would you even care most people dont have survival stuff in their houses. the temperature one was ok, the locks was already discussed a lot. And the other idea sucked hard. Use search function -

Yes, you are in a way, if you punish people for playing alone lots of people wont play anymore, most of the time i play alone myself. Stop trying to force people to play your way, they will fight until death to protect their way, you must seduce them, and playing in a group already has benefits. Lots of them -
Green Mountain radio transmissions

yes for radio transmission, but no for bacstory in it. What about when we add survivor camps we can transmit locations throught it, so everyone who has one can know where the other "friendly" bases are, or you can transmit a false location. Maybe you can hear in morse code the location of a crashed heli or APC that got swarmed by zombies -
