dude, did an american soldier get all bloody for sniping an iraqi soldier? NO, clash between different groups is normal and not the stupid thing, its a part of being human, to fend off for yourself and find your own tribe -
No, the backstory is the campaing of arma 2, in the chernarus map, and then the virus oubreak, after that battle in the region started between some pmcs to try and reconquer the land, and chernarus is the place no army comes into, they are just waiting for the plague and zombies to die off, so thats it, nothing big, just you hoping all the zombies die of starvation and the random stranger is friendly. Nothing, Now seriously, its a mod, theres no backstory, this is no real game, when in the standalone or implemented skins we can indulge into ideas like this that do not sugest anything, also use search bar

well, first things first, zombies do not fear nor feal pain. second flamethrowers nowadays are for burning crops and stuff, and third, in war time it was used due to the fact that the excruciating pain would imobilize the oponent and make him perish by the pain of just run away, but with no pain its just a huge flaming suicide button, they wouldnt perish quickly, no, they would just come at you with fire, it takes a decent time to melt the skin off -

well, based on this level of uselessness we can say it was a waste -
About penalizing bandits well, i just think its kinda harsh, but it could be tested, in the end it would just end like a pvp, surviros and heroes in one, and bandits in another but bandits would shoot each other on site, and as i can see most players KOS, just the people in this forum try not to, sometimes i think, and maybe all groups end up becoming bandits, so all groups are in the end, bandit groups, or better, gangs roaming Chernarus. And these are a great quantity of players, and if they get "penalized" it would be in a way that they could see not as bad for them, but easily to identify for survivors, i am not a bloody murderer, but i KOS and with that i can say that i dont want to be judged as a psycho like those from books you read, or like scum that kills anyone despite living in a society with order, but i can say defending these people is that they have been driven to those actions, by the whole society, and in here we are put in a similar place, we have nothing, and yet its more secure to live a long time by KOSsing each stranger. But as Rocket said, this is not what he had in mind for this game, he desired something more cooperative, although with loners but with less pvp, the disease of PVP has come to stay since the first shot, and everyone in here has caught it, just by being afraid or by being in groups, also because its easier, theres not only no other way, but also nothing else to do. We die from either not playing well or by other players, theres no wall of learning curve and either surviving alone is not that thrilling, its like going to skyrim and saying you are not the player, just an npc who has to survive, but without the player, in which you stay alive doing your thing without actually doing anything, and the player can be anything, just an implementation, another event that sets your eyes into a doable objetive, we can still craft tiny bases but start feeling depressed because of loot spawn, did the other npc deserve stealing your loot, maybe yes, because if he managed to find it he deserved the loot, because he had the skill to find it, just like you if you find it, not only does this angers tent owners but also by people who destroy each others loot. We dont need a punishment for making mistakes or being afraid, we need a better socialization feature, not like stupid derpbook in which you would say you say you find a bicycle in cherno, but another system that would groups communicate between them and maybe between survivors, not as side chat, i dont know, something like this has never been done in a game, all games with guns have the interest in mind of being used to shoot, here we would need a bridge to overlap the fear factor and help you find friendlies, to you and to your side, not for a stupid moronic team deathmatch, but maybe for managing a more fluid system in which settlements could interact with each other without being drive to kill each other, or just to join another faction. In a way, just like another person said, we have to study eve and maye incorporate some stuff they have created corporations no, a band of brothers Ps: If this just doesnt make any sense just try KOS or making camp, also this game is way better played with friends, way funnier too pss:Please rant survivors who are lone wolfs, you could survive, lone wolfs are also a huge part of this game, but by the rule that each chaotic system finds a pattern we can say that going into a like minded group is it. psss: make each group and the territory they domain have the rules that they make, without a bigger brother, like the Free California Republic written without much thought, just plain speed

Suggestion for standalone/mod incl: Money,Kidnapping etc.

kidnapping, impossible due to alt+f4, also you would jsut give away your position if hes in a squad. no currency, just trade, like nomads did, because theres no government who would say what was worth what, so you would be able to sell stuff for almost anything, serverhoping will not be fixed, just a char for each server, bur the hive solves some stuff and makes servers faster, making it otherwise would be ok, but not preferable the pimp up idea looks ok, but i dont think it owuld be that great, maybe if it was just simple stuff, nothing very awesomely, bases are better for customization and more desirable. well, if classes were put into, maybe it would be ok to put like stuff. i also noticed to nobody that nobody touched the idea of paint cans, it would be normal to find, and paint something in the walls telling that stary wass not ok to go, or like cherno was overrun by bandits or zombies or jsut write something or whatever, like declaring a city free zone or bandit camp so stay away well, wont you say stuff about gangs and stuff in here, like logos to put in clothes that show you are in a clan, like all a bandit one. edit: abuse them and think all you want -
