If you can't read..GTFO A DMR/m24 has always broken my leg when I was shot AND knocked me out. Once again, either I am very unlucky or it is intended to do that, And I guess you couldn't read the part where all I could see was the guys leg. I was hoping to shoot his leg, break it and have him go unconscious, but neither of these happened. The guy was able to run perfectly fine behind cover when I saw the bullet go into his leg and saw the blood pouring out. So you god damn scrub, stfu and go kill yourself...You are a fail ass troll who I bet can't snipe worth a shit. edit: I am not asking for a buff or anything for this gun..I just want to understand how a person's leg wasn't broken or at least knocked out when it does 7999 damage.

M24 only has one level of zoom. And edward, if you aren't going to say anything, please shutup. Shooting somebody in the leg with a sniper rifle has always broken their leg and if not, well it always seems to do it to me if getting shot. Everytime I have been shot by a DMR, I have got knocked out. So either I am very unlucky with that or it's suppose to.

I didn't miss, i frapsed it...And DMR I said is one hit knock out, not one hit kill. I know they do 8k damage. Should be two shots to kill one person with either gun, except hs. And when I prone and hold my breath, I still get some sway and that is the only gun I get that with. edit: I guess I worded it wrong in my OP. I was trying to say, one hit to knock them out, and then one more hit to kill them. Apologies..Should take 2 shots though.

so cute how new u are to this game :P...If you can find pellets, they are stronger for the shotgun. Ak74 isn't bad though for close-medium range. Let me add: The pellets are not for long range. You must be within 40meters for them to be truly effective where as the slugs can go further. However, if you are 10meters away from somebody, pellets should be a one shot kill as it fires 8 pellets each doing 2k damage each Able to use both 8Rnd. Slugs, and 8Rnd. Pellets, the M1014's range varies. By using the slug ammunition it can reach effectively out to 200 meters by sacrificing damage, while the pellets reach only 40 meters with the benefit of more power.

No point in adding rape, but I think dismemberment would be cool. You can break bones and such, well why not dismemberment? It should only happen with an axe if hit in a certain area, or a .50cal which would make the most sense due to the caliber size.

I am getting pretty aggravated having to keep reading people saying that L85, NVG, RF, as50s, etc are way too common. People really need to understand how rare these weapons and items are if you try to actually search for them. Helicopter Crash Sites Helicopter Crash Sites can be found in various locations throughout Chernarus and are most commonly found on open fields or on hillsides. The locations of the crash sites vary for each server. These sites are excellent for looting as they contain some of the best weapons that you may find in the DayZ world. Crash Sites can spawn extremely rare weapons that cannot be found anywhere else such as the L85A2 AWS and FN FAL ANPV S4. The weapons that spawn here are often British and of high quality and the zombies that wander around it also usually carry around some minor military type items. The zombies also spawn very fast, so if you are planing on looking around be ready for zombies to keep spawning. Each crash site seems to have 6 loot spots. Swaying your crosshair around the ground is recommended, as tall grass or a slight slope may cause weapons to be hidden underground, but still lootable. The following items are a complete list of all lootable items on the crash site, all information taken from the DayZ loot tables. Once the standalone comes out or 1.7.3 and IF they do a hive restart, you will notice these items are much harder to fine. Well agreed, but still want to point it out to the people making threads about it..That is all this post was suppose to be. I am not trying to get people to argue. I just want a thread that shows everything in one place if people don't know about that website, but of course some troll fag has to come in and destroy that. Even when trying to help people, somebody has to start shit..Typical Dayz community.

If you click the link it shows the rarity of the item. This lets people know just how often they can find these weapons if they actually search for them legitily. People for some reason think all the guns are common and don't realize it...Whether you know it or not is irrelevant as a lot of people dont..HENCE why people keep ASKING about it and suggesting it.

Coyote packs are rare...Once again, they are duped. Alice packs on the other hand are in abundance. Really wish people would understand how many items in this game are scripted in/duped.

Somebody needs to explain to me how it's fun not pvping and just staying up north all the time.

Pretty easy problem for the shooting idea. You can't just shoot at nothing. You have to kill players or at least HIT players for it to count as "xp". So you can't go to an empty server and just shoot. Add exhaustion to the game and you won't have a problem with people just auto running. Animals are sort of rare, so I doubt anybody would just go around hunting animals.(even then it is still boring and can still get killed.) People need to realize this is a simulator and these ideas fit perfectly into it. Maybe not ALL OF THEM, but some. Increased accuracy and less recoil, faster reload are all something you would practice in real life. If somebody purposely grind stats and died, you know how mad they would be? All that time wasted instead of just doing it naturally. Dayz isn't suppose to be a casual game. If you want that, just go up north and do your little live off lakes and animals RP.

Do people not understand that l85 is one of the rarest guns? Same as NVG. It is only because dupes and hackers that they seem like a lot. There is no need to TOUCH the weapon spawns. If you got rid of hackers, fixed the tent duping, and did a complete hive restart, you would see a DRASTIC drop in all these guns.

A normal scope allows you to see what gun that player is carrying. As thermal makes it very difficult to tell. I guess thinking about it as a trade off makes sense, but it completely takes away any short distance the gun has. Most people like to use a l85 with sniper, but it is hard when it's only thermal.

m14 doesn't have an acog scope, it uses a red dot.^^^^

I know everybody has to download the skin, but I figured they did it when u join the server because it does a white download bar when it says "waiting for host". Just wish more people would push for this and maybe it would get more "support" to make sure it works in servers.

Please search for this in forums. You can't be globally banned(that is what Rocket himself said), but a server admin can ban you if he wants to. Which nobody cares about because there are so many other servers.

As people have stated, they only play a few hours each day. Dieing is part of the game. Who cares how many days you have survived if u don't even take risk.

5 minutes of gameplay? Not sure where you got that from. I was killed by a hacker, so this guy told me to follow him around. He didn't kill anybody other then hackers on the one server I was with him on. Other then that he was jumping off mountains with vehicles. The gear I had before the hacker killed me was all legit except one guy I killed and took his as50 tws. The only thing I was missing was range finders. This guy offered to give me anything I wanted, so I took it. Why should I have to spend hours playing and die by a hacker and have to get my items again? The guy was talking to me in direct chat. After he left the server, idk what he did. He might of went to another one, i personally don't know or care. Stop being butt hurt because you die by hackers...We all die by them. Hell, he even helped two other people with gear who were noobies. I am sure they lost it by now though, lol. grow up and get outside for once and maybe you won't be so mad when you die to a hacker. Generally they don't hide your body, so just run back to it.
