Not really true. I know a few hackers who only give themselves gear ONLY when they get killed by hackers.Otherwise, they don't have it on. Hacking can be fun if not a douche about it. I've run into a few "NICE" hackers. If you are patient enough and keep trying to get your gear back, they will usually eventually notice you and sometimes give you free things if you just relax and don't start screaming and feeding them troll food. I had a hacker start spawning buses from the sky with parachutes, blowing rainbow smoke out of a motorcycle and helicopter. Spawned cows with parachutes. It was pretty damn funny. Ended up getting an as50 and m4a1 cco sd along with all the goodies. If all hacks were banned, I would be fine..Even if I couldn't get an as50 so easily, I know others couldn't either since so many are spawned in. Would be more balanced, but that's not till the standalone game.

You could be spawned into a "Thunder Dome" with nothing, and try to get weapons from the crates, or you can go in already geared and try to kill the people going to the crates along with everybody else you want dead. Inside, zombies will also be spawning every 20 seconds. After 5 minutes, who ever is alive will have the chance to leave the server normally and gear saved. Everybody else lost their stuff and can't get it back on that specific server unless they go in again. It can count as murders and just keep having different rounds. If you want it to tie into the core give, okay then. It could be a quick way to gear up, but there is no 100% guarantee that you will survive with gear. I could see it be a funny side mode though. And I mean I just made that up so bear with me on that.

It could be a risk..Go in with bunch of gear or go in with a pistol and try to gear up...If they made it a mode I mean.

Would be a cool side feature of the game. Like Mercenary mode for newer Resident Evil games(in a sense). But instead of a script, could be something you search for in w/e browser. Private hives should do it legally imo. As long as it follows certain guidelines and just turn it into an admin script.

Just because people get disconnected randomly doesn't mean they have 56k. I get you are just using that as a horrible example or w/e you want to call it, but yes...Games DO have to develop around disconnecting issues. It's part of the real world. Battleye will randomly kick people which can count as a disconnect. Why should these people have to suffer for a client error?? I had my friend get kicked by battle eye while we were on a dirt bike. I got thrown off, broke my leg and died instantly..While it was funny, it sucked cause he didn't die and I did(lol), but the bike also got glitched. Or what happens during a thunderstorm? So until you think about all the circumstances that can be considered a "disconnect", please don't talk. Edit: Also, if you want to take into consideration: Servers say that disconnect during combat = ban. Once again, battle eye can cause this problem and the admin won't know. There needs to be a way where it tells you if a player alt +f4, aborted, or lost connection due to an internet problem itself. Edit: My friend also says he confirmed if you log out while in shock, you have a higher chance of being spawned on coast. This may be why some people say it is intentional or still may just be a bug.

Another way of doing this is being updated to 1.7.2.5, trying to join a 1.7.2.4 server(Getting stuck at the loading screen and then alt+f4), and then trying to join a 1.7.2.5 server at the end of it. This ALWAYS respawns my friends and me. If you are at 1.7.2.5, ALWAYS make sure you join a 1.7.2.5 server.

Extreme fps issues can cause this. Only way I can really confirm is joining a cheap server and testing it. Also, I really can't tell how experienced most of the people in here are, but you guys do know there is fatigue, correct? As in, if you try to hold your sprint down when you are out of breath, you will run slower than somebody who is crouch walking or jogging. Otherwise, you are trying to sprint at full speed with no energy left in you. Stop pushing W twice and just normal jog. I am not saying there isn't a bug, but I think most of the issues are "Picnic".

I witnessed it too. I actually took a fraps video of it, but didn't know the guys name. My friends were able to get their bodies back though because EVERYBODY left and the hackers did to I guess.

Why are you even bothering to talk, Allie? Please go away. As for your problem OP, it is happening to a lot of people. I will log out in elektro or cherno and come back on the coast 3k meters away. I had to run from Solnichniy to cherno(7.5k meter run roughly). Twice now in the past two days. I don't blame you for disconnecting when you are lagging. Allie is just an idiot and doesn't understand that sometimes you HAVE TO d/c. BTW Allie, people bitch when you d/c during combat, not when he was lagging and about to abort when he got shot. Anyways, all I can say is you have to stick with it for now. It isn't going to get fixed until a NEW patch comes out that doesn't make the game worse again. Also, just log back in on a low pop server and if you die, you can just run back to your body. Or get a friend to go where you were and log in. GL!

Had same problem. Downloaded the files that Rocket himself put on the forums, dragged them to the @Dayz folder, and it still shows 1.7.2.4 versions in Six launcher and Dayz commander. I am trying to update from dayz commander so I will update you if it finishes or gets stuck.

How are you guys launching the game? If you launch through Six Launcher..Hit Verify, then hit launch, it will show your current version. HOWEVER, if you launch Arma2 through steam, it will show 95248. I don't know if this is intended or some type of glitch/bug, but I can just tell you it's not only you guys.

I just re-read your problem. I actually can't tell you since I have the steam version :(

A lot of people are having problems with the game ATM. MY friends have the 95833 also and have mucho problems getting into a server. I am updating to 1.7.2.5 on dayz commander right now with 95833 and If I can't get it working, I'll let you know it's not just you.

...Hundreds of line? Do you know what cropping is? It is not hard to blackout ip addresses and crop the proof you need. Has nothing to do with trolling or attacking the fellas clan OR core clan. It is simply asking that he just show proof to the players. How will we know if they are really hacking? ALSO, hackers CAN copy an ip address if they actually know what they are doing(highly doubt it though as the hacks on this game are pretty easy to get from my understanding). Stop being a bunch of Obamas, and just show the proof. You could have ended this topic a long time ago.

Ya generally that is a hacker that does that. When you went back to the player screen, did it say admin next to his name? Or did you just repost the video. I know you said credit goes to somebody else, but I am hoping/assuming you know him?

Now I understand if I abort and instantly rejoin and am unconscious, but I just left for like 30minutes, come back and I am knocked out. I am not bleeding nor was I under any type of attack when I left. Does anybody know why this keeps happening? Happens on multiple servers.

Had no aggro. I have been on the same server for the past hour, but I've been trying to fix something so I was aborting quite a few times(NEver under attack). There is only like 5 people on the server.

Horrible amount of time. Dcing is NOT AGAINST THE RULES. Yes for servers, but not for the game. Just play it like WOW and maybe do 10 seconds, but 30 seconds is WAYYYY too long

I was just in Us 366, and got my leg broken, then was given a coyote backpack, and all the goodies..NVG, range finder, two hacked guns(dropped them, but only the guns because I had even more stuff when the hackers first killed me. I think it's only fair). Got a morphine injector and got myself back up though..

Cherno is on fire and a guy was possibly invis with godmode and teleporting.. Can anybody confirm if anybody was on there?
