Well, yesterday I got my lesson (got makarov'ed by a noob who claimed to be friendly), and now I don't trust anyone except my mate. We usually go deep into wilderness but if someone comes our way, he gets mowed down.

Opened a drawer today and felt a great relief to have found a box of matches. Felt so lucky : )

It's been mentioned, but I'll repeat: ARMA 2 engine restrictions make it very, very difficult to implement melee weapons. So stop arguing how it's realistic/unrealistic and how it's sensible for game mechanics etc. It's not happenning.

So there I was, dying of starvation (blood level dropping sharply), running from building to building in Komarovo in total panic. I come accross some random survivor going through a dead guys' belongings. No hesitation, bang, bang. 7 AK rounds for good emasure. bye, bye, random dude hello, 2 cans of baked beans, long time no see Feels bad, but had no choice really.

Too bad. Every time I see a survivor I hesitate and in two weeks I've commited just 3 murders (2 by accident, 1 to save myself). Teamed-up with strangers on numerous occasions, yesterday included, but the upcoming patch will change this, I'm affraid. Probably gonna shoot first, ask questions later. Don't get me wrong, it's still gonna be great, but it will most definitely change the game dynamics.

Yup, my first day, I was deep north, spent about half an hour travelling blindly through forests (no map back then). Found some barn by the road and as I turned the corner I saw a guy with CZ just 10 metres from me. He seemed equally surprised. After so long time without seeing anyone (even Z's) this sight got me startled, and after a fraction of a second I unloaded half a makarov mag at his chest. shameful but felt suprisingly good at the same time.
