  1. I would keep searching until I fell asleep with my face on the floor.
  2. Great idea, but he Zombie-proof barriers would have to deteriorate over time through constant zombie bashing.
  3. Yes, this is what I had in mind. This also sounds really great. Those types of digital locks could be a rare spawn in grocery stores, while the hydraulics could be a very rare spawn in industrial areas.
  4. That looks awesome. :) Do you think a locking system could be implemented into the more elaborate and larger underground bunkers?
  5. Hacked in weapon dropped by someone for something better/has ammo.
  6. Rocket posted here a couple of days ago asking for ideas for the standalone that he answered on reddit. One of the most disturbing lines of commentary I see these days is the reliance people are putting on social media tools for new product development. SM is a revolutionary “listening” device, but if you rely on it for development ideas, you’ll have a steady flow of incremental improvements based on customer complaints but it’s unlikely you’ll find the next big blockbuster. That’s because consumers typically don’t know what they want it until they see it. As the chairman of Sony famously said, they never would have invented the Walkman if they had asked customers what they wanted. One of the biggest challenges with focus groups is that the most dominant participant tends to drown out the majority. Their opinion overwhelms the true sentiment of the sample because they command most of the air time. Social media is like a focus group on steroids. It’s all about finding a way to get attention. Are the people shouting the loudest on social media really the ones who represent your target market? When you tune in to the social media cacophony, are you hearing the signal or the noise? If somebody discovers that complaining means they can't get attention, or worse, completely ignored, a trickle of complaints can turn into a tsunami, whether there is a real problem or not.

You should use unsharp mask instead. Also convert it to smart object first, then when resizing select bicubic smoother (better for enlargement). :)
  8. Don't feed the trolls. Report and move on. ;)
  9. http://www.bistudio.com/english/home/news/company/316-visit-gamescom-2012-in-cologne
  10. How long does it take to make a forum post?
  11. The mod isn't worth playing with all the bugs and script-retards it has now. Also the DayZ staff are ignoring the community, they never post with progress reports or update news. I think players are getting fed up with the lack of communication, there are a lot less people visiting the forums now.
  12. So, Rocket has time to make a post asking for ideas that he answers on reddit, but doesn't have time to make a short post here saying something like: "Sorry about the lack of updates but we have been really busy. We are working on the bugs and should have a fix out soon." Totally unprofessional and rude. If the DayZ staff continue treating their community like they don't exist, the standalone will become a meeting place where only ignorant children, trolls and fanboys go to finger each other in the ass.
  13. I thought I would write a review about how the DayZ staff have been communicating with the community recently. NOTE: I have decided to put the same amount of effort into this review as the DayZ staff have done when communicating with the community recently. SCORE: N/A

    Favorite DayZ youtubers

I subbed to a few but I can't remember who they are because they stopped uploading/playing a couple of weeks ago.
  15. No point taking a tent anyway, they don't save your stuff.
  16. Let me put it this way: http://dayzmod.com/f...100#entry735616
  17. It's a terrible launcher. DayZ Commander is not terrible, infact it's quite brilliant. :)
  18. Why are we being ignored? How long does it take to make a short post to the community about what's going on? Keeping everyone in the dark is driving people away. People are probably starting to think you don't care, you couldn't give a fuck or just can't be bothered. One of the first self-help books written was called: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I think there is a new self-help book on the way called: How to Lose Friends and Alienate People by Dean Hall. Silence is golden, but in this case that golden bit is in liquid form and smells like piss.
