Finally. I got everything I need to survive besides having to run into town for sme of the rarer medical supplies. matches...check binos...check (not a need but helpful) water bottle....check axe to kill game quietly....check Compass;;;;check (forgot to ad that last time) survival knife to gut said game....check Alice pack...check Got blood bags, food, sodas, other medical supplies M1911 and a AKM. So now my thoughts are on a map. I know I need to raid a store to find one of them. After fiding the map I will start looking for a vehicle to repair and then try to find a place to call home. Thats the plan at least. I swear I wont be spending that much time in town only when supplies run low thats how I get killed all the time. Yesterday I was looting a barn I was upstairs on one of the ends and Iturn around there was another survivor pointing a pistol right at me when I turned to face him he ran off. Could have killed me ease cause I was so caught up looting I didnt evn notice him. Whoever you are thanks for sparing me!!!! I run outside the barn there are like 4 dead zombies on the ground guess he has a supposer on his pistol casue I never heard any shots. I tried to call out to him to see if he wanted to team up but he never repiled. By time I left the barn he was no where in sight. Long gone. Just a trail of 4 dead zombies.

If I have a guy on a regualr public server then switch to a private server/hive will I lose all my loot or can I go back anf forth between the two?

I am the same. I am not into the PvP aspect of the game at all. More into trying to team up survive and discover new places. I am Kflo01 in game. I play mostly recruit level. But mainly on US 387, US 3334 and regualr server US 2900. I had my most enjoyable experience on US 2900 but US 387 is just as fun so far on PvP there.

I have a question. I came across a bike and when I logged off I was still sitting on it. Only problem when I logged back in the bike was gone. About a 1minute before logging off I did Same Bike or whatever the command is. My question is how do I have a vehicle and keep it if I log off? What is best practice? Say if I have a car. Should I be instead or outside of it? Should I be using the save vehicle command? If so when and ho soon before I log off? Any other tips or thins I should know? Thanks

Ok finally got it to work. Good bye Six Updater hello Dayz Commander. Not sure why it worked with Commander and not within the games built in mutli player mode or with Six Updater. But its working.

OK I have read awesome things about this mod and bring a huge fan of everything zombies esp The Walking Dead I decdied to give this mod a shot. Lucky for me I have owned Arma 2 for over 2 years now (purchased from Direct2Drive before they were bought out by Gamefly) but I didnt have Operation Arrowhead. So I purchased Arrowhead today from STEAM for 19.99 and installed it. It was verison 1.62 so I have the latest greatest verison no need to patch. I also downloaded and installed Six Updater 2.97pre. Ok I kind of get it the list of servers and such but everytime I try to join a server one of 2 things happens. Either there ALWAYS is a password required which I dont know or the same seems like it is going to launch, says Excuting and the Operation Arrowhead icon appears in the quick launch bar then a small pop up appears in the upper left hand of the screen that. Decicated host created, Battleye Server Intilaiized, Host Identity Created. This happens no matter if I select Install and Update Mods and Join Server or Just Join Server. I also have tried to just launch Operation Arrowhead and go to Multi-player without using Six Updater. Everytime I try to join a DAYZ mod that way I get a waiting for host then a error box pops up within the game stating certan files arent compatbile of something. Ca anyone help get me started PLEASE?!? I also downloaded all the files manually and have them on my desktop if needed. I am running windows 7 fully patched. Lastly. When I launch the game and look under Exspanions. I have a @DayZ and a Dayz the Dayz has a black box next to it. Not sure if that helps.

I cant get Six Updater to do anythnig the game doesnt launch jsut this screen (see attachment) and nothing else. What am I doing wrong?

OK I fixed the errors issue and my game says Dayz beta on the right side of the screen. When directly launching Operation Arrowhead I can join mutliplayer servers but it gets stuck at the loading screen and does nothing.

LOL @ Broomstick thanks for that "helpful" tip. I'm no dummy I watched some youtube videos on game play, wont get over on my like that. But just for that i will make sure I look for you if we ever cross paths.
