    DayZ Stories

The Day the soldier reached the sky *Max Payne's voice* One day, I was strolling around the ruins of the Chernarus landscape, looking fro God know's what; food, water, or maybe a filled whiskey bottle for these painkillers I had stashed. The last few days were resumed by firefights with many of my friends being victims and me being a stroke of luck. This time though, no one would help me out of a bad spot if I ever happened to stumble around a desperate loot addict with the unfortunate fact of having a firearm and enough will between his ears to attempt doing something funky on me. Arriving at the Rog Castle searching for what many would look, I had the decent surprise of hearing loud gunshots coming from inside the tower. It was also night time so I figured these Night Vision Goggles would come in handy. Waiting patiently down the tower for this no-brainer to come down, I finally lost patience and sneaked up the tower (Picking up ammo on the way) Once on the top I was mostly surprised by what I was shown with; There never was anyone but a strange friend was staring me down; Mr. Sheep. He was just looking around, disoriented. Seeing how I was running low on food I decided I would end the poor bastard's life of strolling around aimlessly eating grass. I put 3 bullet of an M1911 in his guts. He collapse to the brick floor and I proceed to gut him out. But yet again, bad things seem to happen when you less expect it. What turned out to be a strange yet harmless pawn of nature was actually turning alot more dreaded... and human. He was human yet he did not assume the appearance of such. Seconds after this witness I was instantly projected into the skies at crazy velocity.... and crashed to the ground..... as well as the 34 other people on the server. Morale of the story: Lower populated servers are safer. The End.
  2. Trust no one. I know meeting someone up in the wild lands of Chernarus is exciting, but mostly are paranoid, have firearms and enough will to kill you. Not to say you should be paranoid as well but strangers walking around with weapons aren't usually a good sign of peace treaty. My best bet is stay away from people, unless you have the means to engage and if you really want to meet up with new companions, go look in the Survivor HQ.

    Anyone wanna team up?

Hey guys, I've had DayZ for over a week now and I'm really enjoying it! However, it can be very frustrating for me to never be able to team up with someone who isn't going to shoot me/Doesn't have mic/Doesn't chat. Eastern Standard Time (EST 0:00 +5 (Or something like that?!?) ) If you are interested, send me a private message with your skype/steam account
