It was obvious all along. Edit: I do, however, want to thank BattlEye for all the legitimate bans against hackers.

I never said you're the admin, I said it's "your server" meaning your select group of wusses play on it. "Why do you care if people are hacking or griefing? What are you the internet police?" Oh noes, an alpha of a mod has bugs and glitches! :( The hacking isn't even anything to do with Rocket & Co. BattlEye get paid for it to be their problem. As for global chat; On many occasions Rocket has stated and re-stated that this whole experiment is not about fun, it's about making the player feel things, and isolation is high on his list. Bringing back global/side chat would demolish any feelings of isolation, you should have to work for a CB radio if you want to talk to non-local players. You, sir, are an idiot. Some people have already had their bans overturned, the new BattlEye message is about them investigating cases of false positives.

Locked servers are a breach of the hosting rules, and they do get caught, it's just a matter of time. Can't wait to see your whine post in hosting.

I tend to stay away from big settlements. Unless I'm outnumbered I tend to win more firefights than I lose, but I've died to far more snipers even outside Cherno/Elektro than I have to firefights. Addition: I've never been killed by a 'hacker'. The only time I encountered one was when I was transformed in to a cow and teleported to NFAW, so I Alt+F4'd immediately.

I explained what I meant when I said it's ironic, and I explained how I wasn't putting any players down when I told you why I prefer to play on servers without those settings. I said you have preconceptions about people who play on veteran servers. Just you.

No it was pointing out that I found your accusations ironic considering most people with the elitist attitudes you're talking about, in my experience of viewing their videos, tend to play on servers with nametags and crosshairs on to make it easier to kill other players. You've misinterpreted every post I've made in this thread due to your own preconceptions of "elitist players on hard servers", and I wish you'd see the irony in that because it's pretty strong.

You might think I'm implying that, but I am not. I just prefer not to play on servers that make that possible, so that I know somebody did not kill me via those means. This is exactly what I said and it's exactly what I meant, for some reason you're getting bent out of shape just because you interpreted what I said a certain way. Your interpretation comes from your presumption of people who play on certain kinds of server, isn't this what you accused others of doing in your original contribution to this thread? You should probably take five minutes away from the computer to relax if people are coming across as being so arrogant and/or hostile to you when they have no intention of doing so.
