I didn't get the geometry mess often prior to the latest patch, and the flush command fixed it every time, but unfortunately I am still getting it. Flush still works for me though, and I don't seem to get it any more often than I did before.

I don't have time to screenshot or MSPaint but I tend to rock the black sunglasses and a goatee with camo clothing. Peace.

People also "immediately noticed everyone became a bandit" when bandit skins were removed, when Steam had 60% off, when Yogscast did a video, when Towelliee started streaming, etc. etc. Personally, I think it started when I got my magical rock that keeps tigers away. I've never seen a tiger, but I've also stopped seeing friendlies, it must be an anti-tiger and anti-friendlies rock.

I bought it on Steam and I did indeed buy it for DayZ. You may now feel smug and hipster at your leisure because you bought ArmA 2 before it was mainstream, but keep in mind that a lot of people like me have found that they enjoy the base game because of DayZ.

Stop getting upset because you're playing the wrong game. Rocket has stated many times at presentations and in interviews that DayZ is more about emotions than fun, he's even gone so far as calling it an "anti-game" on numerous occasions. If you realise this, and still think it should be more about fun, enjoy The War Z with your safe zones and chat rooms, because Rocket had a particular philosophy about the design of DayZ. Let me repeat: You are playing the wrong game.

If they do decide to bring back global chat I really hope you Yahoo! chatters need some kind of rare CB radio item to make it work, really. Like I said in my previous post, if you want to play an interactive chat room just play World of Warcraft instead. Alternatively, Guild Wars 2 will have no monthly fee for those who's mothers won't pay a subscription. People blame all kinds of things for that: 1. Removal of side chat. 2. Removal of bandit skins. 3. Sudden increase in DayZ popularity. 4. YouTubers and streamers. It's never ending. What makes you think yours is right?

Yeah, that's right. People who abuse scripts can spawn any item they want, even legitimate ones. Last night my friends and I ran across a camp full of water canteens, can't explain that. It also had sand bags arranged like swastikas.

I'm not interest in finding scripted-in weapons but has it occurred to you that people ask because they've heard whispers of it being allowed? Rocket and others have stated numerous times that if you find a scripted-in weapon, without scripting it in yourself, then you're allowed to keep it fair and square. People are bound to get curious if they hear this via Chinese whispers, especially if they just found a dodgy weapon. And besides, the fact that Rocket himself says it's okay renders this topic irrelevant. One is illegitimate, one is not.

If you just want to play in an interactive chatroom, there are other options like World of Warcraft that will suit your needs.

You can carry more than one primary weapon. It's called a backpack, newbie. Use it. Congratulations on finding an AS50 though, not that I've not dropped or left at least 4 on the floor at this point. It's just too big and too loud for my tastes. Though, it does make sniping easy with its ranging, so I can see why you like it, especially if you play on ez-mode servers (and I suspect that you do). If you want to even remotely impress anybody pick up a DMR and learn the mildots.

I suppose you could put them all on a zombie corpse or the floor, but I definitely agree it'd be a big arsehole of an effort that could be solved by a "load full mag" menu option. The scrollwheel menu could be utilised a fair bit more for a number of things, really.

I could be wrong, but couldn't you just put the full mag in your backpack and then reload, then take the full mag back out of your backpack? I definitely agree it would be simpler just to have a "switch to x rnd. magazine" option though.

It doesn't, because you can remove it. I play multiple play styles, one of which is even banditry, is anyone going to know that for sure? I don't have the bandit skin, is everyone going to immediately presume I never kill people for their stuff? The answer is no, because that would be fucking retarded, and you know it. The same thing I'd do if they removed it again: Nothing. Maybe you should learn to deal with it like a big boy instead of crying so much. How are you being restricted again? You can still earn people's trust if you work harder at it, you can increase your humanity, we're going in circles here because all you're doing is putting your fingers in your ears and screaming about how you're being forced in to a certain play style. You're not, and that's it. You just need to think outside the box, that's the bottom line.

weather satellites my friend. Would love more feedback from more sensible peeps out there. I don't want to sound like I'm just trying to annoy you, but I actually agree with the llama with the hat. Weather reports are not really a simple case of "computer says yes/no", meteorologists are trained to pick up on signs of often unpredictable air currents and pressure changes. I'm not a meteorologist, so there's probably a lot more to it than even that. A similar problem goes for the idea of a satellite map, a satellite map is all well and good but I hope you're not suggesting some sort of real-time satellite map because commercial satellite maps of where I live are always years out of date. I'm sure MI-6 have the capability, but I wouldn't be able to use it in the event of social collapse.

Assuming 1.7.2.5 is the patch Rocket was recently talking about in an interview with Machinima, and it sounds a lot like it is, then he did say they would. I wasn't playing this game until after the bandit skin was removed last time, but in my time here I've seen enough people say "removing bandit skins made everyone paranoid deathmatchers" to suspect we might see a decrease in that response. I, for one, will be much less likely to immediately fire on someone without a bandit mask and much, much more likely to shoot anyone I see who is wearing one.

I'm totally in favour of item decay. I always hear "I have everything, now what?"
