Right now bandits are pretty much the only social aspect of the game unless you play with people you know, lord knows I only play with people I know with the game as it currently is. If you turn your back on anyone with so much as a hatchet right now you're retarded. The partial rebirth of the bandit skin is just an attempt at some balance, there's room for both legitimate parts of the game.

You can dictate the rules of your trade however you like, that's your prerogative, but if I were considering this trade I'd say it stank of a trap. Chances are people would behave better if it's presumed that both sides have a sniper hidden and have crosshairs trained on the other party. And, frankly, if anyone tells you they're going to agree to your terms and not bring a sniper they're probably lying. But yeah, me personally? I'd be suspicious. There's no way an AS50 is worth NVG+Rangefinder, AS50 is way more common than those things. It's also so kind of you to suggest people "might be allowed" to bring a vehicle, alone, without any overwatch. :P -

I have no interest in the trade but good luck with this. I think a lot of people would consider it stupid to go trading decent stuff without overwatch of any kind, it's just insurance. But you know this, hence you're taking overwatch to look out for you. -

I used to hate the first person view, but then I gave it a proper go and I kind of liked it once I got used to it. I came down from that small high, however, when I realised that sometimes you need all the help you can get when zombies have random moments of telepathy. I got sick to death of catching zombie agro from ten feet away with no bars of visibility or audibility. At least third person gives me time to react. -

Sidearm: G17. Ridiculously accurate and no recoil, not to mention the mag capacity. Flashlight is a nice option to have available. Primary: M4A3 CCO. Not the most powerful rifle but you can all keep your noisy AKM. This gun is hideously accurate, with no recoil at all, and frankly it floors most guns purely by merit of having an aimpoint sight. STANAG ammo is everywhere. It also has the option of a flashlight. Sniper rifle: AS50 is for girls who can't use mildots, it's all about the DMR.

Give it time. Like all fads it'll soon be replaced by another. Until then try not to give them the attention they crave, and try not to be hostile toward them as it only serves to makes them feel validated. Don't think the irony is lost on me that I'm posting in a brony thread to talk about not giving them attention, but I needed to say that this shit belongs in the off topic forum. There's nothing particular to discuss about DayZ here, and the bronies themselves have said as much. -

Who knows, but 42 C would be seriously roasting and like the OP says 20 C wouldn't give you the flu. If you use F the numbers it used to display on the debug monitor actually seem to make sense.
