You reminded me of my first legitimate murder, OP. It made me sad. I was escorting some friends through the apartment blocks near Cherno, we stopped by the supermarket on our way and I spotted a guy some distance away. I figured I would fire a warning shot just to scare him away because he was well out of direct communication range, but my single M4 shot was very "lucky" and hit him right in the centre mass. His only protection was a white shirt, he went down like a sack of potatoes. I am sorry white shirt guy. :(

In 120 hours of play time I have killed, at most, maybe eight or ten people. Almost all of them had it coming.

Sprinting is when you run with your fists out. The video is not mine, credit belongs to a guy called Merino. If you actually watch his video(s) you'll find he does a lot of extensive, scientific testing and compares it with data in the game files to draw his conclusions, and he always emphasises that they are only his theories and subject to change. Nobody has done investigations anywhere near as in-depth as he has and his findings seem right on the money.

The way I see it is that you choose to broadcast your location and status to the internet. Think about it: The internet. I have actually heard of this guy before but I don't know if he's a cheater, I doubt you do either. The 'H' word is thrown around too much around here.

The only thing I ever want to prevent other players from looting is firearms. If I find a firearm, and I think there's a decent chance someone will find it shortly after me passing through, I will "take it in to hands" and leave it somewhere in the grass where it won't be found. Simples.

Quoting this in the hopes Rocket sees it. Some buildings do simply not spawn loot, the brown wooden houses are an obvious culprit. The sheds also stopped spawning loot in the last patch, many sheds and such haven't spawned a single thing since SA was released. Rocket: If you do see this, I saw you going in to some of these houses during your livestream. They don't spawn loot and you don't seem aware of it, I figured they were just disabled for testing. I believe Sacriel also mentioned buildings not looting during his livestream, when you were on his Teamspeak, and you said "they should be". They're not, you might want to talk to the team if you think they should be spawning loot.

This is why I just shoot anyone who comes within 15-20 feet of me. Laugh it up, I'll wait for your KoS thread.

Not all bandits KoS. Sometimes I like to hold people up and mess with them, sometimes I like to help people out, but I don't KoS. If we were talking about a combat situation it would be very impressive. What we're talking about is two guys being dumb enough to trust someone just because they said friendly, that's not impressive, it's just the OP being a clown and causing two more people to probably become KoS players.

No offence, but utter dipsticks like you make people like me shoot un-geared characters who come within 20 feet of us. "Friendly" means nothing, putting hands up means nothing, dropping weapons means nothing, because of people like you I just shoot anyone who looks like they have nothing to lose. Can't trust them. But Chernarus+ is a very full world, for a mostly rural landscape. I am no expert on game engines but from what I have read about this board they tend to only support specific maximum map sizes.

And how big is the map, anything like 225km²?
