Same here, would love to see tutorials for all 4 items in the list. I want my server to be as good as possible. I started by just adding some custom mods like Kill-Msgs, wrecks e.t.c and 100+ extra vehicle spawns but now i want to go onto these type of things to make it even better. Cheers.

The Hive is the database in which it stores your information about gear/stats e.t.c - there are some servers which do not use the Official dayz hive, and use a separate one. With unofficial hive servers you would start fresh and the database is separate from the Official one( anything you do will only be saved to only THAT server). I use these myself when my mates cannot play, i will play solo on unofficial ones, and then play official with my mates so that we can log in next to each other and not spend hours meeting up if i died on my own or got far away on the map whilst they weren't playing. Of course if your logging in on the same server, and its deleting your progress i assume it is anti freshspawn killing, but i thought i would explain anyway.

So some of the servers i have been joining of late, its impossible for people to hear one another with Local voice. Which in my opinion, without voice this game loses 50% of its fun automatically, with voice you can either be friendly or unfriendly but its always fun to see other peoples reactions whatever way(go have a look at the most funny/epic Dayz vids on youtube - most will include voice chat - it makes a lot more varied scenarios). I thought this might just be limited to a few servers but it does seem that its more like half the servers that i join, either the host does not allow voice, or it is a bug. I am not sure which it is if someone could give me some info, and if its a problem that will be fixed soon possibly? If voice is not enabled on a server you can guarantee everyone is bandit, even if they try to say friendly you wont hear it and so you or him will end up shooting either way. No-one types on this game, if they do they are basically giving away their life since they will not be able to react fast enough. I can overlook most bugs, beta is beta. But im sure that voice was working on all servers in recent patches? so i just thought i would ask anyway in case anyone has any information on this. Cheers, Lightstylez

Same here, dayz commander gives me an error, and six launcher does not update at all even though it says there is an update.

Could you explain maxMem or possibly link to where you found the info for it? ( im guessing you add how much RAM you want to use, 2047 being 2GB?) i've looked around on BIS forums and cant see anything. When you say cmd line stuff - you mean you can bring up a cmd in-game and do this or you have to add this info to ArmA2.cfg & ArmA2OA.cfg Cheers, Lightstylez
