Hello, i'm looking for a partner or small group to play DayZ OverPoch as the title suggests. I haven't played DayZ mod in almost a year, i only just re-installed arma 2 yesterday but i do have a lot of playtime, hundreds of hours - who knows how many since i played early alpha and sixlauncher/commander never used steam but it would definitely be my most played game on steam. Anyhow i want to come back and play, standalone is just a stream of useless updates- it's been out almost a year now and so far every patch is clothing & weapons. The game breaking bugs from day one are still there and i wouldn't be surprised if its in alpha for another year. So i hope to spend some time in OverPoch instead, maybe build a base on a popular server and play qutie often, making friends or enemies of neighbours & having conflicts. I'm 22 y/o from the U.K [GMT+0] and can use Skype/Teamspeak. it would be ideal to play with someone in the same/similar timezone. Hey there, i just re-downloaded arma 2 the other day, i use to play DayZ mod quite a lot which is why it was hard to go back to it after standalone hit, i had already done everything a thousand times. However i have heard good things about OverPoch and have had a run around on a server today and felt like i wanted to go back and play some, however most my mates aren't bothered about trying DayZ Mod again so i came looking around on the forums. Hello there, i'm 22 from the U.K Looking for anyone of mature age to play mainly Epoch + Vanilla DayZ, BUT since there are new mods coming out all the time, playing them isn't out of the question. I bought DayZ almost back when it was first released as a mod and have played it quite thoroughly, but am a newbie to the "epoch" stuff. I haven't really delved into it since it would require multiple ppl to build a base and succeed, solo in epoch seems like it would just be neigh impossible, so i haven't tried. I will be playing on servers with low ping for me here in England, so if your location is near it would be better but not needed. I.P is 46.28.50.228:3323, have a car with a few supplies if anyone wants to join, but will only be playing for 1-2 hours longer.

Yes, i could do this. But i would prefer a proper solution - if anyone can figure out the cause of the problem. Deleting setpos will make more problems - hackers TP'ing without getting noticed by battleye or any additional anti-hack attached to battleye like gotcha antihax. I am using reality server pack updated for 1.7.7 by dayz10k while thevisad is on vacation currently - https://github.com/dayz10k/DayZ-Private-master I have built the server with - Wrecks/killmsgs/sszeds/buildings/messaging/custom inventory\carepkgs Scripts/mods i am using - Auto-fuel Tow/Lift R3f script custom debug monitor strip vehicle parts script I have a feeling it is sszeds or wrecks possibly. will try to test some stuff soon. if anyone else can help it would be much appreciated also.

CarePKG's have now been updated, they now spawn significantly better loot(Before they would spawn random Building loot E.G Residential, Farm, Industrial. Wrecks will still be the source of primary weapons, but CarePKG's spawn Tools and equipment needing for surviving. Examples : NVGS/Ghillie/Food/Compass/Backpacks/Medical/Binocs or Rangefinders/Variety of side-arms/Ammo-boxes/Other Mostly things that will help you survive, rather than more fire-power.

Just so you know, if your going to try hacking on my server you will be added to Multiple community ban-lists, meaning you will also be banned from tons of other servers - not just mine. So think wisely, caught 2 hackers today. If your thinking you can get away with it, you won't. Trust me. Poll - Will end on monday 18th, thanks for submitting your answers. Thanks for the feedback. When i was first making the server i hoped i could show yourself on the map, but without nameplates/vehicles/other players being shown. But it seems this is not possible, although i can turn off nameplates, you can still see other players on the map (if you are close enough) and any vehicle in the vicinity, although i myself am not voting on the poll, as i want the community to sway the decision. I wish that the GPS you can find in the game would make it work the way i wanted it , see yourself on the map ONLY. At the moment most ppl that find GPS barely use it, when you open it it shows you a VERY zoomed in version of the map that does not help much and you are able to plot points on the map without GPS anyway. I was just hoping to try something different than other servers - a bit of both Regular/Veteran difficulty - but it did not work out as well as i hoped. Any feedback is appreciated, after this poll has finished in a few days, i will make another poll on day/night. At the moment it is around 2hr45min day, and 1 hr15min night (4hr restarts)- although because the sun is setting and i have full moon enabled it doesn't get that dark until 30 min before restart - i think it is alright at the moment but i want to know what other people think. Keep this in mind, i can only set server start at an hour between 1-24 , so it cant be like 13:30 or anything it would have to be 13:00 or 14:00.

I'm glad you both are having fun, thanks for the comments. In other news, had our base raided earlier today - they took our Ural full of guns and our Huey, but a few hours later - payback. Me and my 3 friends find them landing the chopper to loot a wreck and we take 2 of them out - the pilot makes a narrow escape and we loot the dead bodies. These adrenaline filled moments are what make DayZ :)
