    Sorry mate I have no idea what would be causing that then, maybe try get your hands on the retail version, you just need the disks/files and you can use the cd keys you got from steam to activate it.

    yeah turn off PP and set 3d resolution to 100%. it blows that you have to disable other nice effects just to get rid of the blur. :dodgy:

    Low Framerate on 1.7.1.1

    A buddy and me noticed this tonight, we were moving stuff from ANZ4 to ANZ1 and in the same place in the middle of the forest (no zombies or loot spawning) I was getting 60 fps on ANZ 4, while on ANZ 1 it was around 8 fps, seemed to come good after a while, we were both experiencing it so it seemed like a server problem.

    I reckon this would be sweet if this could be implemented into the mod in some form. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10676 I was thinking it could be like a "side mission" type objective for bandits to sabotage and survivors to maintain, which both require alot of teamwork from either groups to achieve, and which provides some type of dynamic benefit to whoever controls certain parts of the grid. For example - bandits require a team of 4 to take down substations which gives them extra loot in towns blacked out, survivors get minimal loot while affected towns are blacked out, requiring them to gather a team of 4 survivors to repair substation. I realise most the newcomers to the game would be content just exploring Chernarus for a while yet, but I'm probably not the only long time Arma player thats allready explored every inch of the map and is looking forward to something extra to do.

    How to balance Bandits.

    Wouldn't be too hard to make "bandit safe zones" with AI controlled CDF patrols hostile to bandits, problem is they would also be an easy source of loot, unless of course they patrol in armoured vehicles/choppers or something, making them virtually unkillable.

    Yeah melee weapons would be sweet ... chainsaws and katanas, maybe bayonets too.
