Date/Time: May 21st What happened: Zombies appear in ground while idling with their arms straight out at 90 degrees. When moving they are doing normal animations and seem fine. When they get close enough to attack the pop back into the ground and have idle animations. Where you were: Everywhere, the first known case I found was in Pusta. What you were doing: Checking out the new update and scavenging. *Current installed version: 1.5.8.2 When I return home I will take some screenshots and try and upload a video to show you guys the problem.

I would say you should re-install DayZ. I've dealt with this a few times and that always fixes it.

I completely agree, people who I have talked to in chat tend to be more friendly. On the flip side of that, people are evil and sadistic. They will shoot on site, they will not care about you, and they will not show compassion. As a new character I have been killed multiple times on the beach without ammo or any gear because I failed to find any worthwhile loot. They win nothing but less humanity. I don't have the heart to kill another human unless otherwise necessary. I still have yet to do so, that may change soon though.

First I would say read the patch notes but... But open up your inventory and right click the items you wish to use such as food and water. That is now how you activate them.

So very noobish question, but how do I open doors or lower weapons. If I can do that at all I guess.
