I was tempted not to comment on this but if it's going to keep dragging along here goes. This is Day Z' date=' not Disney.[/b'] This game is meant to be hell, it's meant to be harsh, and it's meant to be unforgiving. If you have a problem seeing at night without flares/flashlights/nvgs or a clear sky and a full moon then logoff and come back during the daytime or move to another server. I'm a new player, to ARMA also and jumped on last night for the first time, one hour tops until night hit and it was absolute hell and that's what I was expecting and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I've been digging through the dayz videos on youtube and came across this one, nice last stand and good work dropping all those zeds. Dat winchester is soo good, I had a simlar encounter when I found my first winchester last night. Sadly it didn't go as well but I've learnt a few nice kiting tips thanks to the video :)

I tend to just throw something on pandora low volume, usually trash/pop/crap. I can't really provide a youtube link to a few songs like everyone else here but I have a playlist on winamp purely made for killing zombies, I threw it together for L4D/Zombie Master runs but it still kind of fits the mood. Mainly just soundtracks with some Two Steps from Hell and Requiemn for a Tower thrown in. That is so true, I read that in your first post! What I was referring to was the aptly named title of 'actual cinematic trailer' Which was rather misleading and I only found out once I was in this thread and clicked the link. Working as intended I see :)

There is no actual cinematic trailer. This is a hoax! EDIT: But a pretty damn well made one I must say. This is some nice work indeed.

Daytime servers filled? Yeah, no doubt lots of people skipped the system requirements.
