    I'm not getting a config file, I therefore am unable to permanently set my settings and controls. Every time I start up the game I have to reconfigure all of my settings. This also means I cannot edit my config file in order to optimize my game like I want it. I know that it's supposed to be in my documents and my other profiles in the Arma2 folder. But it is not there, I have search bar'ed "arma2.cfg" and it seems to not be anywhere on the entire computer. I guess the game (purchased off steam) does not want to generate my config file for me. I also unchecked the "read only" boxes in my folder properties. But that likes to recheck itself everytime I exit out of properties. It may have something to do with me running windows on VR (Paralells) but I don't think it's that. Any help or info would be appreciated.

    Man I have the same problem and I have been working on it since buying the game. Basically, until they either optimize the game a bit more you are stuck having to tweak settings until you find the best possible set up. There are also other things you can do such as a or the fps increase mod. These might help out a bit.
