    Hero Skin?

I also have this skin, or at least I did the multiple times I logged in last night. I just thought it was another survivor skin and I kept getting the same one, until one of my patients told me it was the hero skin. My humanity always starts at 0 whenever I log in though, and seems to go up by 150 at a time simply for existing. Then I go to a different server and it's back to 0, but I still have the same skin. This persisted when the game told me I died upon logging in somewhere (for no apparent reason, I left myself at full blood and not in danger), and I then spawned on the coast with no items (not even a flashlight or a bandage) but I did still have my Alice pack. Still had the skin, I'll check in a little bit to see if I still do as I haven't been online yet today. Edit: Oh and I have zero bandit kills and zero murders.

Do you need help? We are in the vicinity of Elektro. PM for details. Edit: Fixed! Love the easy ones.

It was way intense, and I already have so many regrets about this one. After bandaging Mobes I wish I had dragged him to the other side of the house across the hallway, as it should have been pretty clear to me where the shots were coming from. Or been faster with an epi pen, I keep one in my backpack cuz I think "oh wow I never use these". We should have run East instead of North too, but I think panic had set in by then. But most of all, I wish I'd yelled the following after the first shots: "Don't shoot! We're medics!" I am really curious if that will get us out of trouble more often than not. Of course now that I've said it I wonder if everyone will yell that. But still, I think a lot of people appreciate what we do and just look at everyone with a gun as a threat. Worth a shot anyways. Oh hindsight, you continue to be my bane. Edit: Errrr wait East, I meant West. East would've been directly at the snipers. Curse my direction sense.

So I guess in the future when in Cherno and the question comes up to take a look in a building, the answer is, "No way let's get the hell out of here." ;) Super fun rescue other than the deaths though, Mobes and I spent a good 20 minutes sneaking around Cherno finding Xerosnake before we found the right smokestacks. It was an intense and fantastic time. Incidentally I made it out, Mobes and I will be out of commission for a little while doing the resupplying thing.

Did your request get missed? Sorry for that but unfortunately that happens sometimes. My advice would be that if you don't get a direct reply in a timely fashion, to look at which medics are replying to posts actively at the time and try PMing a couple of them (though if PMing multiple medics let them know that you are doing so, it sucks to start hiking and find out someone else already fixed the patient up, but still fixed patient so yay). There are a few medics around that have transportation and literally seem to drive anywhere and everywhere. There's also the front page which lists all the TMW medics by their location, so you can look them up on Steam and see if any are on. Anyways I try to look back a couple forum pages when I am helping out but I check my PMs almost neurotically. Sorry again that you lost your stuff, that always sucks. ***Still not accepting patients, need to resupply first, just forum surfing***

No worries, we'll likely be hitting hospital towns first anyways with plenty of stuff to grab and likely more than we can carry (assuming we don't get shot). If I see you on I'll send you a message anyways, but no worries if you feel like lone wolfing.

And props right back to you for shooting all those zombies while at super low blood. Though I thought I blood bagged you when I ducked into that container, but using 2 blood bags is way better than losing 1 patient. I need to resupply so I won't be answering any requests for a bit.

I'm closing in on Balota but I'm not real familiar with the town or where the med camp is (or what that is). PM me for details.

When it rains it pours. Gotta run to the store in a bit but if you need support restocking your supplies I'll be around in a couple hours.
  11. What he said, there's a whole thread of us in this very forum (Survivor HQ) and we like nothing better than sprinting across the map and diving into situations like this to help people in trouble like you. But it looks like you've already gotten a couple offers here as well.

What city are you closest to? I've got a bottle that's been burning a hole in my pocket. I believe I left myself just south of Zel. PM me with details.

No prob man, my first night rescue! Pretty fun times. Give a yell if you want to group up sometime, calling it a night tonight but me and another medic are planning on teaming up this weekend and I wouldn't turn down an extra reliable pair of eyes.

This sounds like fun, if I'm on during that time I'll look you up. Only teamed up with another medic once before but it was a good time.

Need Medical Assistance? We can help.

I'm usually up that late and I left myself on that side of the map. I'll try and make a note to stay around or come back to that area. I'll PM you tonight around that time if I am on and we can trade details. If you don't hear from me just post again and I'm sure someone will be around to help out.

Just medical services here, though a lot of us do pass out food and water when giving treatment. There's quite a few trading threads I've seen pop up though. You know what I really want though? A taxi service. Sometimes there's a medical call on the other side of the map that just sounds so darn exciting but I'm nowhere near it. Someone get out there and make this happen.

I've got one but can't login for at least an hour, possibly two. I'm outside of Elektro but will be happy to head your way when I can sign in. If someone handles this sooner let me know.

This was a fun and easy one. I love it when the hardest part is finding a server that we both can see and get into. Being able to give a low stress tour of Elektro from the roof of the hospital was great too, the city was ours alone. Stay safe out there!

Need Medical Assistance? We can help.

Just keep answering calls. Most of my patients have come back and given some forum feedback, and before we separate I ask them to. Help them with their issue and give them some tips on how to avoid it in the future, assuming that they are somewhat n00bish. If you're in a town you know and they don't know the area, point out good places to loot and where you can go to lose zombies on your trail. But above all, don't worry about it and keep getting your hands dirty. The whitelist is awesome but in the scheme of things is it necessary? As long as we keep throwing ourselves into danger to help people, it doesn't matter whether there's a list of us or not. The important part is that we keep doing it.

After Action Report - Nesta I was hanging out on top of Mt. Kopyto after refilling my canteens, listening to the sounds of automatic weapon fire from Prigorodky when Sya put out the call. A survivor named Nesta had gone down in one of the tents in Stary Sobor. He was bleeding, low on blood, had broken bones and unsure of what tent he was in he had logged. Sya wanted a full complement of medics, and how could I resist a chance to ride in his recently reaquired ambulance. We agreed to rendezvous on the road leading into Mogilevka, so I immediately began heading north. I got comfortable next to the tree, listening to the radio chatter as Sya discussed meeting with his personal bodyguard, as well as a team from the Green Wookies. Sya took a bit of sporadic gunfire but neither he nor the ambulance was any worse for the wear. A few minutes later I heard a horn honking and there was Sya and the ambulance. I hopped in and off we drove. On the road there was much chatter from Sya's guard and the Green Wookies as they began heading towards Stary. Having a vehicle we arrived there first and began circling the town, eyes wary for possible bandits. It was only my second time in Stary and from what I had heard about it I was defnitely on edge. We circled the town and didn't see anyone, found a nice copse of trees to park in, and waited for our escorts. The Green Wookies were pretty far off so we decided to go pick them up. While we were en route to the Green Wookies Sya's bodyguard made it to the outskirts of Stary and kept an eye on things. The Green Wookies were travelling past a deer stand and agro'd a couple zeds, but they lost them easily. We made our way to the rendezvous point and picked up our three escorts. We made our way back towards Stary, our steely eyed captain Sya calling out all the sights, and assuring us a stewardess would be by soon with drinks and snacks. We dropped off the first Green Wookie outside of town to help out Sya's bodyguard on overwatch. After a quick recap on how to use smoke grenades (I've never used one), Sya drove the ambulance down to the tents and we began clearing the area. Sya and I had agreed that he would take the tent on the left while I checked right. We popped out of the ambulance, I went right with the female Green Wookie. There was one zed in our tent that met with gunfire and a well placed axe, but I was hit and began bleeding. I quickly bandaged myself while the rest of the team made quick work of any remaining zeds and began clearing out the rest of the tents. When the tents were cleared we signaled Nesta to appear. Sya and I checked our sides respectively, but the first tents were empty. We immediately lept into action and began checking tents. On the third tent I looked at the ground at what appeared to be a dead surviror. I called out I had found a body but the odd thing was there were no flies buzzing. A second later the possible corpse was replaced by a live survivor and I lept into action. I called out that I had found Nesta and instantly started bandaging. For some reason after applying the first it appeared I needed to bandage again and so I did. When all the bandaging was done Nesta was down to 200ish blood. I then applied a transfusion and a very grateful Nesta rose to his feet. We all headed towards the ambulance and drove away. On the way out of town we picked up the Green Wookie and Sya's guard and found a nice section of woods near <REDACTED>. We posed for a few pictures in front of the ambulance and then called it a day. This was the most fun rescue I've been on, but then I hadn't really been on any that weren't just me. Thanks to Sya and his guard for letting me tag along and the Green Wookies for meeting up with us. And of course a thank you to Nesta for trusting us and letting us help. I <heart> being a medic. I took a bunch of screenshots and I'll sort through them when I can to see if anything good came out, but mostly they're of us travelling in the ambulance. I was far too panicked/excited during the actual medical treatment part to actually take pictures.

Sounds exciting, I am in. I haven't been whitelisted yet since the Doc is out of town it appears, but can point to where some patients have posted about my helping them.
