Nice! Hopefully mine will keep up the pace :P This was a few days ago, a few friends and I just gotten all of our good loot (Night Vision, DMR, Gilli, Range finder ect..) and we where running up towards starry when we all (3 of us being a team) saw a UAZ which looked perfect. So before I even thought of telling my friends "Hey look a UAZ" they both where laughing like little girls and started running and that was when i heard 2 shots fired at nearly the same time. Both of my friends have fallen within yards in front of me and where laying lifeless on the ground. I continued to lay there in my gilli blended into the brush by me and began to scope out with my range finder when I saw one of them.. I took a deep breath and tried to focus since my heart was racing as i took a second to find out how far he was. about 1020m, "Damn" i said to my self as i continued to look to see if there was another person with him. About 100m away from his friend I saw a man laying down with a gilli on he was about 1123m away from me and had a M107 just like his friend did. So this is when i decided to go for it. I pulled out my DMR and steadied my shot guessing where the bullet would hit. I wanted to go for there heads since it would be a nice clean quick kill. So i fired once waited a few seconds and it was just in front of his head, once i saw the bullet land i shot again quickly as possible. Head shot and down, so i turned over to the right and once i saw a part of the gilli I shot as quick as possible once more.. Head shot. Both where down and I was able to claim revenge on my friend who I soon picked up with our new UAZ that was full of there old loot plus the new ones from the bandits. Victory! :]

DayZ really doesn't need any high end graphic cards to run it. What you really need is a good CPU this is because the Arma Engine uses the CPU to load and display the terrain of the game more than (if not) the GPU (The Graphics Card). Look at the video DashDashh posted, its by a great DayZ player called Jack. What I would do differently for that build is get a better CPU but make sure it fits your motherboard. :]

Isnt global ban managed by DayZ?

I don't know what happened but I stopped playing DayZ for a while and when i got back onto playing it and says i was Globally banned from the game... Is there something i can do? I cant go and buy the game again i don't have enough money but at the same time I really want to play it. I did nothing wrong what so ever not even taking hacked weapons i found on some servers.

a friend and I saw these guys and in the beginning there where good posts saying they where reliable Then the new update came out and it all got fucked up! I managed to fix a few things but right now we are getting this problem. I managed to get it to see it was v4.0 by modifying the database, but now its saying the vehicle_id table doesn't have a default value when trying to generate new vehicles (I removed the old ones cause of the update) So now im annoyed and piss cause we had a ticket up for a couple days now. What i managed to get it to now:

Bought a nfoserver VDS/machine and wanted to start a private hive, i managed to get a small version working on my own pc but we bought this so that we may be able to handle more players. But now i cant seem to figure out how to get a dayz server up and going on this since i cant run a bat file anymore to start the server :/ The only thing i have accesed is the ftp and the small control panel. What do i do? Please help :] PS: Also got the Arma OA up and going, it works and we can join the server.

Same thing is happening to me and my friends. I just bought the game today and i was able to join ONE server. After 20 mins of trying to find my friends we got chanced by zombies and then the whole entire server stared lagging and as we where climbing a ladder our guys randomly fell off (Due to lag) And we died... Then we couldn't play EVER AGAIN! Made new profiles and everything couldn't get in game. I have been trying since 4pm and now its 9:37pm
