Hey guys, Let me preface by saying I am not sure if this is the correct place for this post, but after having a look around I am not quite sure where to put it so this seemed the best fit. Anyways, a friend and I have been playing DayZ for about a week now and love it, BUT, with the rampant hacking, many times he and I are forced to quickly abandon a server or, much worse, be killed instantly by some rude a-hole hacker who gets enjoyment out of being an awful human being. Therefore, I am trying to put out some feelers to any of you out there that operate a private server, one where my friend and I could get the password and finally be able to play together on one or two good servers without the fear of having a character I have worked on for days killed without even a second's warning. Obviously, both of us are extremely against cheating/hacking, and just want to be able to play on a server where we only have to fear dying to a bandit or a zombie or disease, all of which adds so much tension and enjoyment to the game. Getting hacked happens far too often on regular servers, and we are just sick and tired of not dying from being outplayed, but from just being on the same server as a piece of s*** who feels like ruining everyone's time. So, tl;dr: my friend and I are just really looking around for quality private Day Z servers. We both play the game fair and just want to have a hack-free time. Our preferred server would be in the USA, playing on veteran and with as high a player count as possible, but even if any of you have a private server that is the exact opposite I would still love to play with ya :D Thanks guys! Also, any password-protected servers would be awesome too, I feel like those would be the best protection against hacking. If any of you running a password-protected private server want to play with orange and I for a bit on a public server or whatever to make sure we don't just want to get on and hack your server we think that would be awesome (the more in our party the better).

Okay, so to clarify for the super-literal apparently scouring the forums, I imagine the likelihood of being hacked on a private server with quite a few people playing has to be much lower than it happening to a regular unlocked server. If there are over 50 ppl on any of the public servers, it's almost guaranteed to be hacked within a couple hours, and that just isn't fun. Therefore, I am looking for truly well-kept private servers, ones that invite members looking to just play the game cheat/hack free. As said here, my friend and I want a server that I am not worried about keeping all my items on and plan to play on for good really. I am just looking for some information, not to be rubuked for my failing to state the fact that I understand private servers may be hacked, but am just thinking it is far less of an occurence. So, if anyone running or playing on a private server is looking for two new players that will play by the rules of the game and are just looking to have a good time playing Day Z with others (whether that means being shot at by bandits or being helped by other survivors is what makes the game great), send me a pm or send word on here for me to contact you!
