It is infact admin abuse and I think the issue here is more kids doing this need to be dealt with instantly and substantially as soon as it is confirmed. The devs can never allow this and it needs to be dealt with throughout the life of the game. I think any idiot who hosts a server for standalone and thinks they can do anything other than manage the game needs to be instantly banned. Before private hives this got really out of hand on the mod and people would buy servers just to abuse them.

Not trying to be a dick but I was curious what makes you think that was 800m? Looks like maybe a bit more than half of that to me. Still a good shot though and yes I believe that was helmet protection or possibly a bit of server side lag.

Anyway the difference between what I said and your two opposing points of nonsense are that I think He didn't know what he was getting in too when he signed a contract with BI and he has reverberated that concern. So if you hate BI and rocket so much why not go play something you like or troll some other forum.... why are you here?

Ok for everyone else like this guy who just doesn't get it. Arma 2 Is selling like crazy during the current steam sale. Do you really think BI studios is going to let rocket release or even talk about when standalone will come out when they are making a fortune with arma off his current dayz mod? ROCKET IS NOT ALLOWED TO SAY ANYTHING..... It's actually fairly obvious. Just wait I'm sure he is doing all he can.

Is this serious? It's already an optional thing for servers, If it were removed they would instantly loose about 80% of their players, why on earth would they do that? On a side note why are their so many my little pony bro's on the forums..... what is going on with people these days..... -
Arma 2 is selling like hotcakes for the current steam sale because of dayz. You really think Bohemia will let Rocket release standalone right now?

They know they really should release it this year if they can. The new engine architecture needs to be finished, even if it's a bummer to wait another month or two. I'm not a fan at all of the console gaming community but the amount of hype and revenue it would create for DayZ would be worth it, although just because he said he'd like it to be on xbox means nothing at all. -

Stop arguing about what an alpha is, it's traditionally done in house as well as beta's but it's whatever they say it is. When a dev says they are doing alpha testing than they are no trolling can change that.

I represent a group who played quite a bit of the DayZ mod, we are looking for a few new members for the standalone which will be released late December. We are a fairly relaxed group that plays daily and will most likely rent a server as we did on the mod. We have multiple teamspeaks as well so no finance's on your part would definitely not be asked, this should go without saying but in the arma 2 community alot of groups require mandatory payments, which I personally think is ridiculous. The only thing we do ask of new members is that they not be annoying and have a mic. -To contact me about joining message or add me on steam at xallx89

Player profile name means nothing. The only thing the name indicator really does is let you know where someone is when you can't see them which is a bit of an exploit. It also makes zeroing considerably easier. Nice sentiment but it's not really a valid point.
