Seriously, walking back to your friend is a pain in the ass. It isn't even part of the game, because you can basically just run like hell until you reach him/her. There is barely any surviving aspect in it. You just die and respawn until you are reasonably close and run. Sometimes running through buildings to shake off chasing zombies. I had a lot of fun in DayZ at the moments when I was with friends, but as soon as we died it was just annoying. There is easily a way to implement party spawning without breaking the game. People already team up with each other, so the fact that several people are working together is already in the game. You can simply say you can choose with whom you want to spawn and you all spawn in the same place. Problem 1 solved. If you like running back to your friend, just spawn randomly. What if one of you dies? You might be able to respawn with your friends, you can ofcourse loot your body straight away again, but there should be a timer on spawning with your friends so there are no random respawns in the middle of a battle. And at the moment eveyone run back to their body anyway to see if their killers left anything to be looted, which if their friends are still alive is probably the case. So really it is exactly the same, without the tedious respawning till you get a good one and that pressing 'W' for an hour.

I don't think that's a good idea, that is actually the program that allows you to connect to the internet. Pretty sure this guy is trolling. It's network card driver if I understood correctly from google searching.

I got into LU190 after a manual installation, but that was the only one. Even other servers with the same version didn't work. The next night I played and some servers had problems, but I thought it was those servers. the third night I couldn't get into anything anymore, There are some very scarce moments when I do get through, but it only takes about 10-15 minutes before it freezes up again. When I open task manager it says 'not responding'. I waited for about 10 minutes once.

Did a completely clean install again. Still the same problem. Can also get into LU16 and FR58, same host as each other again. So I played for about 5 hours, then another day it started showing problems, but I could still get in and play 5 hours. But now When I try to get into a game it freezes up in the lobby. There are some moments that I do get into a game, but those are about 1 in 30 tries. I got in once more for about 15 minutes and then it still froze up. I tried reinstalling everything, six updater, manual install. Driver updates, Starting the game with steam, loggin in on different servers. No succes so far. It's really weird, because it worked fine for a while and then it just degraded. :s Saw another post of soeone having the exact sae problem with the sae video card. Specifications: Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM processor 16 GB DDR3 1333 MHz NVIDIA® GeForce GTX670M with 1,5 GB GDDR5 I just logged into a random server that wasn't dayZ and that works fine. Really hope someone can help me out here. Had the best time playing for that 5 hours.

So I found one server that seems to work: LU190. But I have no idea why the hell that one does work. I checked other servers with the exact same version and stuff, but those didn't work. Problem is that it doesn't seem to be nighttime on LU190 when I play and me and my friends enjoy playing at night more than during daytime. (in-game night that is) Anyone has ore knowledge of servers and what might cause the problem?

Nobody knows how to fix this right? :(

I think I may have the same problem, although I was able to play for a few hours, but now it goes into 'not responding' as soon as I enter the lobby. I saw some other post that had this exact same problem. We do have the same video card. Sorry I can't help fixing it, still looking for a solution myself. It's even more of a problem that it is a very local problem. So it's not hard for everyone to get into the game. We're just quite unlucky.

I have the same problem. Played all night long and now it just won't work anymore :S I saw another post with the same problem. We do all have a GTX 670M. So it might have something to do with that after all? It's really hard to find anything on this particular problem. :( So weird that it worked fine before and now it just locks up. I got in once more, but I locked up again after 10 minutes or so. Any progress?
