With a 500 watt power supply you could barely pull off getting an HD 7770. Good card, got one for my boss. But if you're looking to play DayZ at any respectable framerate I recommend you get something like a HD 7850. Little bit better price to proformance. You may be able to get away with that 500W, and I also suggest going up to 8GBs of ram. It's the "sweet spot" for gaming. I'm a tech geek. Put waaaay too much time into my computer

No no no. Quests should be given by a player somehow. Like you meet someone in need of a blood transfusion. Says he'll trade you something nice for a blood transfusion. Furthermore, plenty of trades happen. It's just dangerous. We always have a ghillied sniper on over watch for trades.

Maybe one day on friendly servers, the game will evolve to players themselves constructing safe zones for one another. We can only hope. I wouldn't mind going into a small town on a hill to find a fortified to hell safe area filled with generally nice people. Group up with some, go take out some bandits that have been giving the group trouble, bring back food for everyone. Just seems everyone is too focused on mine mine mine now because you want to survive and you can't trust anyone.

Although I don't agree with you completely as far as equally out the weapons goes, I do believe you're right in saying the rarity should be much more of a factor with ammo and weapons. Reusable ammunition on the crossbow should be invaluable and if the bolts stacked in like 5s maybe it'd be more used. Other than that I think survival should be focused on much more too. When you have focus on survival I think people may need to kill out of the need to survive more rather than the pure fun of it. That right there would make murdering much more immersive.

You're avoiding the direct question. If I come across a ghillie suit while wearing a camo suit, should there be more of a reason other than it blends in better with the forest that I should choice it over the camo? Like a said above? Should it be a simple linear path from good better best? Or should you actually have to weigh gain and loss like a REALLY RPG and not a faggot ass MMO. To all of you who think this is warcraft GTFO. There shouldn't a definite better opinion. Always keep choices.

Why does it have to be a completely linear upgrade path anyways? Good, Better, Best? Way to think like every other game developer. This game IS so popular because it's doing everything differently. If you don't want to contribute to the creation of an industry changing game go back to playing Call of Duty.

This is a completely ignorant generalization and don't confuse this with what I am trying to say. What I am saying, as far as when it comes to some gear, there should be things that stand out. And as a matter of fact, there is a reason to pick the makarov over the G17. Depends how much ammo you want to find. I would pick the DMR over the AS50 any day. More ammo, higher rate of fire, larger mags and if you know what ranges the mil dots are set for why do I need to zero in the rifle?

And plus thinking about how they are almost just as rare (considering I found them on a heli crash site) why should they suck so much in comparison?

YES I KNOW CAMO CLOTHES ARE BETTER THAN REGULAR SURVIVOR CLOTHES. No need to reiderate that a billion times. What I want is a constructive discussion on how the camo suit can be improved or stand apart from the ghillie suits. Example I mean, reasons why I just wouldn't ALWAYS pick the ghillie suit over the camo clothes.

Found my ghillie at devil's castle and one in Vybor office's once. Look around there I guess.

Still thinking it should have some kind of off set difference in potential than the ghillie suit. The armor makes sense, but this would kind of get into a "should there be classes" discussion. For example you'd be more of a front line, heavy weapon player for assaulting cities or enemy camps. When in a ghillie suit you'd be a recon guy. Obviously a ghillie suit being better for a lone survivor, but possible the camo gear being better for a group of hardened badasses. An "army" so to speak.

I'm still kind of dissapointed that the zombies act more like infected in this game to begin with. Screw vampires. Pretty sure it's exactly what this game doesn't need.

Oh and where I like to go in NE airfield, not NW. NW is way more dangerous and at NE you are likely to find some good fully auto rifles as well as a M9 SD

lol don't listen to this guy. Use DayZ commander. Update to the lastest version of everything on that. Also go to your steam library, double click arrowhead, and reinstall battleye
