Agreed. I strongly dislike MMOs. From what I've experienced, MMOs are the most money oriented type of game a developer could put on the market. You pay for time to play and the quests are mostly uninteresting go there, get that, kill 20 of those dude missions. Literally quests to make you spent more money if the equation (money=time) is correct. (I know some people enjoy the storylines, regardless, still money hog games.) Although that's not what DayZ is, I also wouldn't want it labeled as such.

Yup. Just the other day I kept spawning there, killed my self like 4 times. Kept spawning there. It's a decent spawn IF your plan is to just go straight north. Because then you can hit zelnogorsk. But I was trying to meet some squad members over by electro.

Agreed. I want to ask everyone a simple question. Is a ghillie suit better for not being seen? Rhetorical, I know it is. (debatable in town) My point is if ghillie suit is better for not being seen, and the clothing is NOT teired like the guy said above, should the camo suit not have it's own more unique advantage associated with it?

The game is so good because it is hard. It doesn't hold your hand like every other game. You don't even get a makarov when you spawn anymore.

I think it's getting a little ridiculous how many top teir guns I'm seeing on kids with no actual survival skills. Most of the time we can assume this is from one of there friends finding a good item and duping the hell out of it. Now, don't get me wrong here, I've been the culprite of duping before. My friend and I did it out of pure spite. The server murdered our characters and we wanted backups just in case. But it was easy to abuse this godly power we have. My friend kind of wants to duplicate the hell out of stuff when I just want to keep it to a minimum for back ups. Anyone else have some stories about finding characters that have obviously duping? Do you guys think the number of amazing guns laying around will be reduced once this is fixed?

lol. Had a 550ti mate. Had problems with it crashing minecraft(??? IKR?) Then I looked at this list that came with the NVIDIA drivers that showed all the recommend and not recommend games. Wait, wtf a graphics card that couldn't handle OpenGL Minecraft. And that's when I decided I was done with NVIDIA cards.

My honesty didn't first come without the knowledge that in no way my forum user account and DayZ character ID is connected in away. Unless IP or something but I doubt they'd go to that length. They want me to buy the game and IP banning is only reserved for actual hackers(As far as I know). I'm just exploiting a game that already screwed me out of hours of hard work. Alpha I know.

You guys think when the game goes stand alone(by then hopefully duping will get fixed) everything is going to get reset? All items despawn? Wait, is the stand alone going to still be using the same map, servers, character IDs? Now I'm wondering what will happen then? Everything starts fresh?

Wouldn't recommend you get a last generation card. Although I'm currently running an HD 6950, and it's a great card. You never want to buy last gen. You'll save money in the long run plus for your needs with a 500W, the 7XXX series uses MUCH less power.
