I bet some of you try to be kind to players so you live in harmony and stuff. There really are kind people that don't kill you etc. but there are also liars. Dirty liars. Look, like 20 minutes ago I was in the Elektro school shooting a bandit to the ground, then his friend in the supermarket. I read "friendly and unarmed" from a guy and loot the supermarket. The guy looted the dead bandit first and began to shoot at me, I ran behind the corner and ran out of the supermarket to hide behind a wall. The guy ran to the firestation in the north and hided there. Looking for his position i survive one shot of him and run back to a corner, waiting for him to come down from the firestation and eating my bullets. We wait for each other 10 minutes or so, then the guy gets bombed with grenades and dies (Karma hell yeah). Oh, I forgot to say that he wrote "sorry im friendly, i was shocked". Well, I loot him and disconnect from the server because it would have restarded anyway. Long story, short meaning, how do you handle liars? I really am about to start banditry again like in the last weeks because banditry better in so many way. Tell me your stories

So um, I always find AK 74's and the U versions and the AKM in Elektro and Cherno but also lots of Lee Enfields and WInchesters (What a surprise). Every weapon is pretty cool against zombies but how much shots do I need to the body and head to kill a Player? No, I'm not about to kill everything. It's just that I always get 1 shot of an Enfield and fall unconscious and I need several AK74 U shots too to do anything against a player. So, how much does the damage from the 3 Assault Rifles differ and what do you prefer, would you use them over the Enfield (Btw, does it really need 1 shot to make someone unconscious?) And last question is, I don't understand Zeroing, can someone explain it? I'll be back in 4 hours to watch this thread, have a good morning guys :) And thanks

So I was fully equipped in Gorka, found 2 Heli Crash places and that lolyay, looted everything, got some nice weapons with silencers and stuff. Went out of Gorka (I had no compass) ended in Gorka. Repeat this 4 times please. Of course i found little houses and deer stands across the map, but not a single f***ing compass. :D Then, somehow i found Stary Sobor and found nothing. Next day I spawned in Cherno, I really don't know why, but I spawned there. Looted it, still no compass. Next day I tried my luck in the supermarket of Cherno, saw a player in front of the glass when I looted the only compass on the planet and got noscoped. 7 days running around Gorka and getting noscoped. http://emotibot.net/pix/314.jpg Can someone tell stories like that that happened to you? Situation 2 is simple banditry in my opinion, nothing wrong with that. Also it's a lonely 12 years old kid tat I killed in DayZ, so I dont care.

The patch thread said that the patch would have come yesterday and still no patch, did I miss something? Are there any explanations why there is no patch?

Yes, I know... this may be a pretty noobish question, but I always kill so incredibly much people and don't count as bandit, by the way, how can i see that? How much people do I need to murder?

Nah, not doing that since I don't come furthter than Cherno and die on the way to the northern airport. I always kill because i NEED something, for example a M16 or just food and something to drink, whether it's someone unarmed or armed, most times I don't even see if he is armed ^^ But good to know that! And how do I notice that I am a bandit? Some patches ago your skin changed but know it was removed, any other aspects still alive?

I'm tired of running trough Elektro, Cherno, Staryi Sobor and Solnichnyi and seeing my desktop explode like a jump scare ^^

WarZ was delevoped before DayZ, I heard. Also it's DayZ's own fault not being a stand alone right now, also they will differ a bit, i suppose

Hello there guys! First of all I want to say, that I'm German and my English is horrible, sorry for that, the German forums are just too empty. So, my problem is: I wanted to test DayZ on a friends Steam Account, he came to me, logged in, we installed ArmA 2: OA and ArmA 2: Free and the Six Uploader to play DayZ. Everything went awesome, except some shadow bugs where my shadows are sort of a grid of light und dark pixels. I played, had my fun, great mod. Immediately after playing 4 hours of DayZ, I logged into my Steam account and bought ArmA 2: OA and wanted to play on my account, everything went well, but I started on the same place where i stopped on my friend account. As he arrived at home and wanted to play with me, we noticed only one of us can play at a time. If I play DayZ and he wants to start it too, he gets the following information: "You are kicked from the server, Bad CD key". We had no idea how this could happen and how we solve this problem until we found this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29424-error-fixes/ . I tried to solve the problem with this (but not my friend, maybe this is the problem? I don't know) and failed hen I needed to download the Beta files from the Arma site, because I have no normal ArmA 2. only OA and free. And now I am here without any idea of what to do, even if my friend doesn't play anymore I receive the message that the CD key is bad. I am sitting the whole sunny, wonderful day at home trying to solve this problem for like 12 hours now :( Can anyone help me please? I am also about to download the normal ArmA 2 on another friends account to get the beta patch going, will this work? I hope you can help guys.

*bump* Is it possible that I need to change something in my registry? Or will it mess up things more?
