  1. Are you using the default graphic drivers that came with the laptop? If you are, that is the first thing you should update, errors or not. On some laptops you need a modified .inf file to install the drivers correctly (this is only necessary with Nvidia cards). If this is the case, let me know so I can help out with installing the new drivers.

I'll try that thanks, also my game freezes so that I CANNOT click the "Ok" button on the multiplayer loading screen

  2. This mod is still in alpha, so it's not a completed product so Dayz Tech support are freebie jobs, most troubleshooting you'll get help from the community.

Try this, go to dayzcommander.com and download the client. After you installed it and run it, on the right hand corner look for a tab called Versions. click on it. You will get two options "Check Now" and "Done". Click on Check Now to see if you're up to date, if not go ahead and install the latest patches.

After you have the latest it should look like

    Arma2

    Revision: 95417

    Dayz : 1.7.2.4

Click done when you are finished.

Hit refresh on all servers and try to join one that is within the good ping limit. ( it will help you load faster )

edit: There are some servers in limbo. And you'll either get Battleye is not responding ( you'll get kicked for it ), Or you'll get into a server and after clicking ok, you'll come to a loading screen that will be stuck for a good 15 to 20 minutes you decide to give up( this happens to servers that have just been restarted or fired back up after it was shutdown ).

If all else fails please post the specs your system that you are trying to play on.

    Didnt work :(

  3. "Omg! Why does this alpha have bugs!"

Really dude? It's an alpha. You are not even providing enough information for anyone to help you in the first place. "My game is crashing" is not very helpful. Have you tried re-installing? Are you running as admin? Is it steam or disc? Is your monitor turned on?

First of all Ima boss just wanna get that across.

    - I have tried reinstalling

    - I use steam

    - I ran as admin

    - I got beta updates

    - I got DayZ rar files and extracted them into my @DayZ

    - I disabled firewall/ allowed arma2

    - I'm using a laptop so my monitor is turned on

    - And I said that my game gets the "Not Responding" message on windows and I have to open task manager to close it.

    - last off Im just very dissapointed that the support for getting the game started and fixing problems is terrible.

  4. Well there's your problem...

Okay jokes aside. your beta patch is up to date, you say you extracted your DayZ files properly? You should be at patch 1.7.2.4. Else that may be why? Though iof your arma client is crashing it may be your arma game

Do you have it installed through steam, or nonsteam.

if you have it through steam, Relaunch steam as admin, and verify file integrity. (Right click -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify) Do this for ArmA 2, launch the game to main menu. Do it for ArmA OA, Launch the game to main menu, and HOPEFULLY things work.

Someone told me to try this also I'll give it a shot and get respond
