Try "verifying the integrity of your game cache" if you purchased through steam. Simply right click the game in your library and go to properties. It's in there somewhere.

It happens to everyone nowadays :/ Best advice I can give (which is obvious) is just a community-owned server that has a strong population, chances are they have more admins to monitor. I've been able to dodge alot of hackers/script kiddies this way.

I would recommend using DayZ Commander over Six Launcher, it will let you choose whether or not to upgrade or downgrade. Otherwise, you will have to do a manual update, (which isn't hard) by downloading the files from dayzmod.com and overwriting your current files with the new ones in C:/program files/steam/...operation arrowhead/@dayz/addons

If it hasn't already been mentioned, try changing your memory setting under video options to default or lower.
